Hi Jibjoob, yes I just can’t see how that can be right?
I have read an older thread on Reddit where students had marginal fails but yet had scores on knowledge of 100% and it was due to system errors, however they didn’t specify an outcome of whether this impacted their result.
Who is your training provider? I am studying with BPP and have a review call on Friday with my coach so maybe I will ask their advice too.
October 15, 2024 at 8:30 pm #712451Hi jobjoob, I didn’t sit TX in September but sat AA & found your thread via googling the same thing.
I failed by 3%
I have a 0% for knowledge in object test skills which I’m confused about too.
Have you contacted ACCA?March 4, 2024 at 9:14 pm #701986For my first part of section C I had calculate goodwill for 5 marks, Compare Ratios 20X4 to 20X5 GP margin, OP Margin, Current Ratio & Receivable days for 4 marks & then interpretation for 11 marks. It was based on an acquisition of a property agent (I think)
Apart from probably not getting goodwill entirely correct, I enjoyed this question. I think the consideration paid was £64m & there was a deferred cash consideration also – not sure if anyone else had this question?
My other question C was P&L, changes in equity & Cash flow which I ran out of time so hardly done anything on.
Unfortunately I think another resit for me :\January 15, 2024 at 6:11 am #698167Passed with 51% – third attempt, so glad to get this one out the way!
December 6, 2023 at 6:24 pm #696265I think you may have had the same exam as me… Section C I could have cried when I saw it was transfer pricing!
December 6, 2023 at 5:35 pm #696250This exam attempt was awful – definitely will be resitting in March 😐
Had transfer pricing in section C, which I find extremely difficult!October 16, 2023 at 6:39 am #693427October 16, 2023 at 6:38 am #693425Congratulations to those who passed! I failed second attempt with 38% 😐
However, this was very much expected with very little revision prior to sitting the exam. Going to rebook and attempt to sit this with FR in December 2023.
Those who passed please can you share your revision methods?July 17, 2023 at 6:23 am #688214Well done everyone. I Passed by the skin of my teeth with 50% – after failing with 37% first time round. so relieved! On to performance management again!
June 10, 2023 at 7:31 am #686717Hi everyone,
Fingers crossed for all!
This was a resit from a miserable fail of 37% in March and to be honest, I feel like this time round I went in with a lot more knowledge and better preparation.
However, some of these questions just completely threw me and I still do not think I have done enough for a pass.
The 2 option questions I find sometimes very difficult as I’m usually always guessing the other option & I know you don’t get any marks if only 1 option you have selected is correct
I lost an easy 2 mark question with regards to the pecking order theory, I put the same as others in here which is correct (once I had the chance to google), but stupidly changed it in the last 30 seconds as I had it flagged
In section B, I also had the question on two sisters owning an unlisted company. Had no idea!
Peso vs USD question
In section C, I had an NPV question with inflated sales, Miller Orr (total guess even with the formula provided – did not revise this at all), Working Capital etc.
I hope I have done enough, but I’m not sure I have… the 6 week wait is torturous!
Question; Does anyone continue to revise during this period incase of a fail? Just to keep the momentum going?
