    Passed at 62% & officially an affiliate. I still cannot believe it! December 2021 sitting for AAA was so difficult, I was expecting a fail. Thank God!

    Hi Sir,
    Im confused why the solution is like this:

    1.217 = component asset beta x 0.25 + 1•078 x 0.75

    Cant we do (1.217*0.25)+(1.078*0.75)?

    This is where i’m going wrong..

    Sorry, they do have 3 products. The ones ive given above is for Product B.

    For product A: SP p.u = $2, materials = $0.50.
    Machine time p.u in minutes: assembly 2, QC 3, Packaging 4.
    Demand is 1000 units.

    For product C: SP p.u $1.75, materials $0.35.
    Machine time p.u in minutes: assembly 2.5, QC 2, packaging is.

    ahh I got it, sorry sir I was confused about either deducting it from the budgeted overhead or actual overhead.. 195618-7292= 188326. OAR is 188326/7640= $24.65. Thankyou so much sir 😀

    sorry sir but this questions are from my module.. and also.. what if the budgeted production in period 3 is 31,600 units and in period 4 is 28,900 units.. and the questions are:

    what are the budgeted purchases of the raw mat. in period 3? my answer is 66,300.. bc its says that the company requires 2.5kg of a single raw material per unit. the material cost $9 per kg. so 31600*2.5= 79000 and then i add the closing inv and deduct opening inv which is = 79000-19750+7050 = 66,300

    what is the budgeted cost of the raw material usage in period 4? my answer is 72,250 because 28900*2.5

    are these correct? if not pls correct me sir
