We are only supposed to take the following or you can follow this method:-
1) Take the Fair Value of Investment
2) Take the Fair Value of Net Assets acquired that’s basically the (100% of the Net Assets Multiplied by Net Assets of Subsidiary at the time of Acquisition)
3) Deduct the Fair Value of Net Assets acquired from Fair Value of Investment. With this you will find the goodwill for reporting date. Remember if there is impairment you are supposed to deduct that too from the Investment.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!

No its not given. I am not sure about Miller-Orr but EOQ is not given. I would’nt really say that its hard to remember all these. Its just practice that makes you remember all these formulas. 😀
July 20, 2017 at 3:29 pm #397804Hi no its not given I had questions based on EOQ discounting and direct EOQ questions they did’nt provide me any formulas.

July 20, 2017 at 3:27 pm #397803Hi Keshav,
Yes you can get exemptions from CIMA for CERT B.A level, but this exemption can only be gained after completing your entire B.COM semester with a pass result.
Now regarding the coaching institute personally I prefer Banglore as a good place in India to clear up my CIMA papers. There are plenty institutes who are offering CIMA classes.
Some of the main ones which I know are ISC banglore and Kappans Banglore try checking them out.
Cheers!
