58% first time- I convinced myself that I failed it! Even had a dream a week ago about all of that.. It was a strange paper, and my numbers were definitely wrong in some parts, but hey!
Thank you John Muffet and OT! ??
July 15, 2019 at 7:36 pm #523717As a self studier I definitely echo the above advice- I went through OT lectures, then BPP book and P&R, then OT for things that were REALLY confusing (Like deferred tax and foreign subs!), and then just did 3 practice exams under exam conditions. A week before I read all the articles on ACCA and tbh got lucky because I literally read about OCI on the train on the way to exam! But those IME are best left right before, so the content sticks in your mind and you can understand what it’s getting at!
July 15, 2019 at 6:10 am #523375Passed with 71% I’m shocked!! Been so stressed this past week preparing to have to resit so what an awesome surprise! Thank you Chris what a LEGEND! OT+BPP books and online stuff on YouTube and ACCA of course!
Roll on AFM now!
June 6, 2019 at 1:37 pm #519342Definitely unusual questions but some were quite straightforward. First question asked in effect of TCI from part disposal which was quite odd I thought! But all in all, could be better could be worse!
June 6, 2019 at 1:36 pm #519341It was all about accounting policies, differences between policy and estimate and how adopting different IFRSs gives rise to inconsistencies and how this affects the users
October 17, 2017 at 5:49 pm #412184Passed first time with 68%! Just used OT an BPP P&R and study cards! Thanks!!! No more worrying about the silly strategic business study crap!
