Dont give up. Get up and continue. Keep a positive attitude. Even i failed at 46!!!
I started my ACCA journey in 2014. I am in my late 40’s. I failed F5 ,5 times. Passed on my 6th attempt
So dont give up. I am still continuing even though I fail also. I get up, dust myself off and restart again. So for those of you who think they are too old you are never too old.We were supposed to finish just after 12.00 noon. there were technical issues so finished the paper at 5.00pm Kenya time. I just started the exam and my timer froze so I had to be moved to 2 different computers before I could continue with the exam. I had questions on audit risk, and key controls to rely on in internal controls, factors to rely on when using an expert, going concern, substantive procedures, on 3 or 4 different items.
Its good you got 45%. This means you know some of the information. You can do it. Push yourself a little bit more. I am older than you and also struggling as I got exemptions for first three papers. I did F5 and had to read for F2 to pass F5. Took me 5 attempts and on 6th attempt passed. Don’t be demotivated. Continue.
I am also older than you and studying ACCA. I also have a Bachelors Degree. I am also struggling as ACCA is tough and am determined to finish it no matter how long it takes. Have passed a couple of exams. Continue, don’t give up, the reward will be sweet.
Yes I have not received my result either. Last time I received it via text. Just keep trying to log into Myacca.
I passed. Got 59%. At first I found it hard but tried answering, flagged and kept going back to questions. I got on fradulent n wrongful trading n on transportation and payment. Everyone gets different questions. Some might be similiar but not all. I got obiter dicta and value in pledge or value pledge.
