June 24, 2010 at 2:24 am #64788It’s sad that I don’t like the new examiner exam style. I consider the last exam the most horrible experience I have ever had with any ACCA paper. As I can see now, I would definitely need to repeat p4 in December. So admin can you get us some new trends and some background information on the new examiner for P4, I hope this news reaches us on time for December 2010 ?
June 24, 2010 at 2:17 am #64844I Would definitely advise you to go for p7, but I am not sure if the big 4 firms criteria for hiring and placement is dependant on the option papers you pursue.
June 24, 2010 at 2:12 am #64706My advice, if you are good at theory then you should choose p7, if not then p6. But the last P7 exam did not even test a lot of theory. The last exam was great, however its structure was not in keeping with the past exam structure. This is off course my opinion ?
June 24, 2010 at 2:06 am #64780I don’t think it make sense which papers you sit now and use that to determine which papers next to sit. The ACCA syllabus is designed by a team of highly professional qualified personnel. It is structured to meet the needs of accountants globally. All papers of the fundamental level needs to be completed therefore I believe that you should not really waste time trying to decide which papers to complete, just tackle them in the consecutive order according. The option to decide which papers to attempt only comes into effect when you are considering your option papers in the final level of the programme.
Good luck to you!!!
