I’m considering which option paper should i choose.in june 10 exam paper i take p6,so i only left with one option.I ‘ll wish to enter one of the big 4/mid-tier once i finish my acca.is p7 a rrequirement/added advantage if i enter these firms?i havent decide my career path.i’m still considering corporate governance/finance areas.
i’m currently working full-time in a small audit firm,and since there’s no one in a situation like me,so i have to ask here.
I Would definitely advise you to go for p7, but I am not sure if the big 4 firms criteria for hiring and placement is dependant on the option papers you pursue.
@TROPICALLOVE
I WILL ASLO ADVISE YOU TO GO FOR P7. U DEFINITELY AV AN ADVANTAGE THERE CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT U ARE PRACTICING IN AN AUDIT FIRM AND MUST AV GOT A BIT OF AUDIT KNOWLEGE TOO. THATS JUST WHAT THE EXAMINER – LISA WEAVER IS ASKING FOR!
SO COLLEAGUE PLS SHINE UR EYES BETTER! IT WILL EVEN HELP U IN UR FUTURE ENDEAVOURS AS A PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANT SINCE WITH A GOOD KNOWLEDGE IN AUDITING,NO AUDITOR WILL SCARE YOU.
