So previous two attempts at final ACCA paper I could not login in through the link nor see the tick box on Ebusiness.

I can now log into the link and also had the tick box on Ebusiness.

Maybe a coincidence? Hate to think these theories could be correct, as I was so against them before hand

    Hi all,

Yesterday was my third attempt at this paper and this time round was a dream paper for me and really optimistic for a good pass here.

In my post I referred to December 2017 countdown and I don’t remember these issues of membership type “M v S” being discussed.

    Well they were

I followed every line of December 17 countdown and there was no M v S theory. The last day I checked on ebusiness page, membership type was S and its now showing as M. However, the line in which the membership details appear on ebusiness page keeps changing. This is how it appears on line 178 “<INPUT TYPE=”HIDDEN” NAME=”p_membertype” VALUE=”M”>”. I think the M v S theory is correct. I also got the tick box issue. When I logged to this page: https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_STUDENTS which someone said its only for members, I managed to log and the page is grey and white and I have never seen that before when I log to myacca. I just hope I passed despite not finishing the P2 exam and finding the options questions strange. I have not yet done my PER and expecting to work on that if I pass.

Well that’s a lie because its mentioned in there loads of times….

I want to believe it but why some show ‘P’ and tick box while mine showing’s’? there should be some reason,.

People were having the same thing last year and still passed so ignore it I reckon

    and another one:

    “January 15, 2018 at 12:39 am

    mark1916

    Participant

    P5 – 57
    P7 – 57

Finally qualified. Link Theory didn’t work for me and therefore would like to say it’s one large piece of bullsh*t! There were more theories flying about here earlier than there are on how earth was created!

Well done to everyone who passed their exams, to those who didn’t sit back reassess and go at it again!”

Think these link theories can be put to bed now

    Participant

    P1 70
    P3 65
    P7 58

    Now an Affiliate.

For those who care to know, all the link and e business bulsheet didn’t work for me as they all pointed to me failing but here i am today, an affiliate.”

So all this link stuff is a load of tosh

I can’t see any of the things above on the ebusiness site or black and white background on first link.

I am a finalist but I haven’t had my PER’s signed off yet. I doubt any of these theories are real though…Don’t think ACCA would be so sloppy in this day and age

For the capital question in part one i basically said it should be the profit before tax/(equity + long term debt) as PBT is the most accurate controllable profit answer. Gave few examples of using different profit figure or without including debt and how it can mislead investors and grossly overstate the ROCE perecentage
