IAS16 states para16 The cost of an item of property, plant and equipment comprises:
(a) its purchase price, including import duties and non-refundable purchase
taxes, after deducting trade discounts and rebates.
If VAT on PPE is not a non-refundable purchase tax for registered & non registered entities. and registered companies can recover it from gov then it simply means they dont pay VAT on PPE. Is it so?April 10, 2018 at 8:30 am #445943My question is regarding 10 years limit the day you get registered with ACCA for any exam . In my opinion its not a good thing for students either they doubt their examination system and they think that students who have passed an exam cant retain the knowledge gained regardless how experienced he might be they ignore his practical experience or they simply don’t believe in their recommended study materials and syllabus for subjects . Why Students bear any loss for such an arrangement which doesn’t make sense why dont you ask affiliates to resit exams every 10th year so there are double standards. ACCA and Brooks university should review their policy and should remove this restriction.
