Dividend valaution model assumes on future dividends to be paid. Becuase we do not know what growth will be faced in the future, for the current value we need to incoporate the groth by including the rate given.

Companies normally grow becuase they are on going concern basis.

Yello there, understand the question requirement. In as much as you know the topic in question, do your level best to tailor your knowledge to the senario given.

Where we have 5marks given, with good explanation and examples given you could just write 4 points, but in cases where you are not sure or not VERY strong anwers to be on the safe side you could write all 5 points.

Get more info from the Video lecture on the introduction given by the tutor.

Just to add on, Yes it is a financial liability reason being you still have a fixed rate of paying the shares to the share holders.
You are obliged to pay whether you like it or not unlike dividends.

Read more from the course notes given.

I disagree with you on payback considering all cash flows as a whole for projects. This advantange is for NPV that is why it is more prefered.
Ideally payback actually is not appropriate to use it soley becuase it wont give you sufficient information needed to decide whether project can be persued or not.

What is your say on this?

Mostly they are good at the job given to them, hence you will expect quality results from there input.

On the other hand explain to me in detail the following approaches that an organisation can adopt in terms of inventory
    -agressive
    -moderate
    -conservative

I have only read the course notes.
    Do the following qualify?
    -reveiwing credit limits for customers,
    -assing financial statement for customers
-if need be using factoring to collect debt( when you have tried collecting and you have failed)
-employing expatriate staff to manage receivables
    -etc

This is what I understood from the course notes.
