@trephena I apologize, I posted the same question to 3 forums as I wasn’t sure which forum was the correct one.

April 4, 2020 at 8:26 pm #566500@GillianM Thank you for your reply Miss. As I told before my mentor said that I didn’t need to submit any excel for topic 17 so I didn’t do it at the time of submitting my project. I Have discussed it with my mentor and he/she said that I cannot appeal the decision either as it was a requirement and the only option I have is to resubmit the project (Only spreadsheet file and resubmission statement).
Can you please guide me further on what option I must take and how should I puruse it further?

The examiner told me that they failed me on a technical aspect that I WAS UNABLE TO SUBMIT A SPREADSHEET which was a requirement of the project. But, my mentor told me that do not need one for this topic.
Please guide me on how appeal as I have worked so hard on this project. Following are my remarks:

March 25, 2020 at 1:03 am #565691Can anyone please tell me how can I check my result for the submitted thesis?
March 21, 2020 at 10:03 am #565505I want to ask how does OBU release result for the submitted thesis and how does a student get their degree at home?
November 12, 2019 at 3:41 am #552248Sorry I forgot, can you please suggest me any good models that can be used in topic 17? and If the stakeholders analysis must not be part of it, what can I consider adding instead?
November 12, 2019 at 3:40 am #552247I have just one day to submit my analysis but I am concerned about one thing. I chose topic 17 for my RR and have added shareholders analysis (by applying mendleow’s matrix) in it. Can you please tell me is this unnecessary?
August 27, 2018 at 8:33 pm #469709ooh yes Thank You John … 🙂
June 28, 2018 at 12:23 pm #460445Additionally, I have one more misunderstanding related to the topic. Is the ‘Safety Stock’ , ‘Buffer Stock’ and the ‘Minimum Level of Inventory’ the same?
June 28, 2018 at 9:38 am #460431Ok got it.
Well I have seen the formula which is like:
(Maximum Usage × Maximum Lead Time) – (Average Usage × Average Lead Time)
and on some websites
(Maximum Usage × Maximum Lead Time) – (Minimum Usage × Minimum Lead Time)
This is the reason I asked the question, because I am confused between two of these.
June 6, 2018 at 5:55 pm #457173OK Ken just a to clarify a little misunderstanding about Point 2. If I do not know the model asked in the exam still if I answer the question with relevant points I get the marks?
June 5, 2018 at 12:14 pm #456315Sorry Ken My bad..
OK, Now If I just repeat for my own understanding, what you are saying is that If the question is open-ended or is silent about the use of model then either I can use a model of my own choice (of course a relevant one) or I can write sensible relevant points?
But if the question specifically asks me to apply a certain model and somehow for any reason I do not apply the required model or apply another model or write sensible relevant points, I will no get any marks?
Am I right in my understanding here?
March 23, 2018 at 7:57 pm #443618Ok John from your interpretation, I understood that If a problem of “capital allowances” occur during APV calculation it will be treated as if in a normal NPV question, to reach the “Base Case NPV” figure. Is that correct?
And if so now for example, the Tax is paid is arrears then will the Capital Allowances be placed in accordance with the timing of tax payments?
January 27, 2018 at 8:35 pm #433479Well, Thank You very much both of you and especially Annon. and I would presumably say that I think I agree with annon about attempting the “Section B” first rather than throwaway, because this was the same reason I failed my P7 in December attempt, as I spent too much time on first question in effort to cope full 50 marks, I could only attempt one 20 marker and failed my paper at 45%.
However In case of P2, I attempted the Section A first, but I think due to good practice of goodwill questions I completed the section A first question pretty easily and was left with enough spare time to do rest of my paper and completed paper worth 85 marks and passed it easily.
If I will get any difficulty I will ask you guys on this thread, and I plan to take the paper in coming 9th of March and therefore really working hard. 🙂
January 27, 2018 at 6:37 pm #433464Ok Last question brothers.. Can I use a BPP Exam Kit that was for June 2017? and Which study text should I study to get grip on theoretical aspects of the paper.?
January 25, 2018 at 6:17 pm #432992Thank you Brother, this information is very useful.
I would be needing help for another thing about P4. As I am preparing for P4 from online resources like LSBF and Opentuition etc.
Can you just summarise the syllabus of P4 for me?
And also tell me which topics I need to have a goof grip and which topics are complementary?
And also which topics were included in P4 that are now excluded?
And what is the best way to get theoretical knowledge that i would want for the paper?
January 24, 2018 at 4:30 pm #432686Please help me.
September 18, 2017 at 9:51 am #407850Dear sir,
I am current ACCA student studying in Pakistan. I have completed 10 papers of ACCA. But I could not get OBU due to ineligibility. I just wanted to know are there any other Bacholers degree programs that could provide me with exemptions? Because i want to get a Bacholers degree.
August 8, 2017 at 8:07 pm #401077Well to be true I did not chose it, One Day my Father came, he said you are doing ACCA and I have already got you addmition in a college. I said OK. And today after 3.5 years I am a Professional Level Student and plan to complete my ACCA in December attempt.
So far I have learned so much studying ACCA. And found Audit as the most interesting topic and (God Willing) plan to become an “External Auditor”.
In my opinion ACCA is a very good Qualification and everyone should at least do FIA in their life once(or at least just study), because today in my opinion it is very important to understand the corporate sector and how actually organizations work.
