The welcome page of the E-Business website shows this

“If you have any problems using this website or any general membership enquiries
    please members@accaglobal.com”

While the General details section shows this

“If any of the other details are incorrect, please contact students@accaglobal.com”

They seem logical and they don’t seem to be based on results.
what is website used for by the way??

The welcome page of the E-business website shows members@accglobal.com while the general details section shows students@accaglobal.com

But they seem more logical rather than based on results. So I don’t think there is any need to worry

What is this website for by the way??

Sorry I got those. The exercise price should be 100-96=4 and 100-96.5=3.5. The futures price should be 100-96.02=3.98 and 100-97.02=2.98

If you compare the question Alecto and Awan Co(Dec 2013) the way they have worked out the Interest rate options is different. In Awan co the workings look much more detailed and complicated may be because of the numbers involved. Alecto looks simpler but I’m not sure how they arrived at the numbers.

Could you please explain in Alecto, how did they arrive at the exercise price of 4.0% and 3.5% and the June futures price of 3.98% and 2.98%?

Could you please explain why have the inflation rates been taken from year 2 and not year 1 for calculating the Variable cost?

    Good Day

    Gross income from option = ZP140,000,000/142 = € 985,915

    Cost
    € 985,915 x ZP7 = ZP6,901,405
    In € = ZP6,901,405/142 = € 48,601

Could you please explain this part?

    Good Day

when calculating the number of contracts when the exercise price is $1.62, they consider 23.7 contracts as 23 and not 24? why is this the case? Is it because they would be hedging more than what is required if they consider 24?

I cleared in my third attempt. What I feel is that applying the knowledge of the subject to the scenarios in the exam questions is the important part, which you may be lacking. That is why you may be in that 45-50 marks range. I’ve been there and I know how it feels.

Applying for remarking may not be a good idea as there is a very low chance of an increase in the marks obtained…

Practice more of the exam type questions, especially past question papers…. It will really help…

@Matt Q16- was not easy to find deficiencies compared to past exam questions, anyone else find this?

I found it difficult as well. The sales system itself was quite tricky to understand.
    MCQ’s were also quite confusing.

But I was presuming the FS prepared is also wrong. How can we be so sure that FS is prepared properly? Has this been mentioned anywhere in the question since I could not figure it out?

Yes.. It would be great if we could get the suggested solutions so we get an idea of how we performed.
