I have written Acca F8 twice, first time I got 49 and the second time which was on Sept 2016 I got 48. I don’t know where am going wrong because in both exam session I though I did well. What is the process for applying for a remarking
I cleared in my third attempt. What I feel is that applying the knowledge of the subject to the scenarios in the exam questions is the important part, which you may be lacking. That is why you may be in that 45-50 marks range. I’ve been there and I know how it feels.
Applying for remarking may not be a good idea as there is a very low chance of an increase in the marks obtained…
Practice more of the exam type questions, especially past question papers…. It will really help…
There is no remarking available.
You can ask for an administrative review, but seems to merely mean that they make sure all your questions were marked and that the total of marks is correct. Now that scriipts are scanned and marked on-screen, there are many automatic safeguards – for example, marks are added by the computer. I don’t see any point in asking for such a review.
