Thanks. These are the things I have considered before on place mix, the bank has over 400 branches in 7 countries, with over 4000 ATMs, thousands of POS machines, uses agency banking, e-banking. Will checking for ac, seating or overcrowding still be relevant here?
The only difference between this bank and other rival banks will only be the number of bank branches, ATM, POS

In my case, I will be writing on a bank. product size, packaging may not necessarily apply. Off example, the bank accounts – individual current account, would the features and benefits suffice? Since the rival banks may offer similar or different features and benefits on this product.

I have been reading this book- Principle of marketing by Philip Kotler. He highlighted some things regarding marketing mix (4).
For product – variety, quality, design, features, brand name, packaging and service
Price – list price, discounts, allowances, payment period
Promotion – advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, direct and digital
Place – channels, coverage, locations, inventory, transportation and logistics.

I guess I can focus on data search on the listed above points? I know that all won’t be relevant to bank. I can also use the examples you have given above on ‘people’ and ‘Process’

I have finally settled to write Topic 18, please review my research questions –

– What are the marketing strategies of Zenith bank
– What impact does the external environment have on the marketing strategies of Zenith bank
– How have these strategies influenced their position to give competitive advantage
– how to the marketing strategies should be adjusted to sustain the competitive advantage as well as exploring other opportunities?
I want to use 7ps to answer question 1, pestel for question 2, ratios and marketing metrics for question 3 and comparator and recommendations for question 4.

I prepared for APM for 2 months. I just want to offer some suggestions. I used learn signal for a month, the videos are very short, 13 mins Max. Then, I solved all the questions in BPP practice kits. Occasionally, I showed some questions in Kaplan as well. I noticed Kaplan has more practice questions than BPP.
I also solved all the past questions from 2016 – 2020. The key to effective question practice is, have a go at the questions first. You don’t need to check the answer first if you struggle with a question, try to solve the question first.
When you struggle with a question, it means you don’t understand the topic, go back to your BPP or Kaplan kit to read again the area you struggled with.
The key is effective question practice.. Goodluck!

Exactly. How could someone have deleted such an important mail. I don’t agree with him. He might have seen a mail and didn’t read it, then deleted it. He must have assumed it was the congrats mail. Acca can’t really lie about the genuity and accuracy of the mail sent. He should be able to sue them to court.

How could you have deleted a mail that is so important. Not saying I don’t believe you, but could ACCA be lying about the accuracy and genuineness of the congrats email? I doubt that. You should contact ACCA.

I am so excited. Judging by the comment, I means I am now an affiliate. I got the mail since 16th and I didn’t check my mail. I just checked now. Thank you, ACCA. Covid19 made me write this exam. I only prepared for one month. APM is not so hard.

I spoke with my mentor for the first time. He said writing topic 17 would require primary data. I live in Nigeria, would I be at a disadvantage writing topic 17? I noticed the trend that most students from Nigeria writes topic 8, which uses only secondary data.

we had a different question entirely in Nigeria.. what is the examiner thinking? Question 1 was easy.. question 2 included investment property with change in fair value, who would have remembered this treatment. this is not F2. Again in q2, reversal of impairment loss again in AAA exam, this should be tested in F2 or FR.. No past papers contains these two requirements.
question 3 was disaster.. PFI with a expert thieves.. I didn’t know where to start..
I must pass this exam, this was my third time.
