December 2, 2014 at 1:25 am #215663What about abc costing:
A) cost drivers cause cost to alter
B) in traditional costing higher volume of production means lower allocated oh
Both are right
And on environment costing:
A) acc systems tends to capture environment costs, but the challange is to identify
B)input\output system divides environment cost in to three parts (dont remmember which ones)
Only a) right, huh?December 1, 2014 at 3:18 pm #215186I found the mix and the yield question very straightforward. Where there any “tricks” that I might missed?
November 22, 2014 at 6:10 pm #212260I would suggest to read and make notes on the 15 mark question. And after those 15 min. passes start solving the question.
U will be concentrated and ‘in the mood’ for that question.November 16, 2014 at 4:22 pm #210463Yup thanks to all of you. Bought the hardcover..
For everyone else thinking to buy the ebook I suggest firstly to check if its device friendly, cause apparently the ebook supports only limited versions of devicesNovember 4, 2014 at 4:56 pm #207682I’ve heard they tend to have extra points for written questions. Let say its 5 point question. And the examiner has 7 points to allocate. So the extra 2 are for your interpretations, if they are reasonable lol

August 22, 2014 at 11:41 am #191894Thank you. I have another question for final clarification:
Jojo is an assembly worker earning 12$ per hour for a basic 35 hour week. Any overtime is paid at a premium of 50%.
In the last four-week period, Jojo was paid for 150 hours. During this time 15 hours were classed as idle duo to a machine breaking down. Also included in the number of hours are four hours overtime spent working for an urgent job at the request of the customer.
How much should be charged to the production overhead account for the four-week period?
A 216
B 240
C 288
D 360The correct answer is A.
workings: (15 hours x 12$)+((10 hours- 4 hours) x6$))=216So in this situation we assume that those 6 hours worked are overhead cost which incurred in overtime and because the question states that ANY overtime is paid at a premium of 50% we charge it for 6$?
Thank you very much John
August 9, 2014 at 6:05 pm #189002Thats a bit crazy 🙂 anyway,Thank You John!
August 3, 2014 at 3:14 am #180571I have my f2 exam on this Friday. Started to watch lectures at 06 of July…
I would say you need at least 4 weeks (studying 2-3 hours a day, almost every day) to go through syllabus and than 1-2 weeks of intense revision ( using Kaplan or Bpp revision kit).July 28, 2014 at 2:24 am #179791Im sorry John, but shouldn’t to finish the wip be: 70%*10k?
