November 6, 2014 at 5:45 pm #208070Hi nooni, yes indeed; give yourself at least 40-50 rigorous study hours for each (i.e. 3 hrs daily for 2 weeks) followed by 2 weeks of intense revision using the current revision kit (this is the most important part). The last 2-3 days to the exam should be spent on your summarized notes/ flash cards. All the best!

November 12, 2012 at 5:33 pm #107124Hi zohra!
You can breathe easy. There were no changes to the F7 text in 2012 so your study text for 2011 is good enough. Hopefully it’s not from earlier than that.
Opentuition notes are best when used together with the video lectures. Matter of fact, they are succinct and to-the-point compared to study texts like BPP, which can tend to be superfluous especially with theory.
But remember, with only 3 weeks to go, the MOST IMPORTANT part of your preparation is ADEQUATE QUESTION PRACTICE. Practising as many exam standard questions under timed conditions is way more crucial than the text/ notes at this point.
December 9, 2010 at 12:04 pm #73770It’s June 2011 for me… The thing with F9 is, if you’ve more than adequately prepared, you’ll definitely pass. A last minute burst of inspiration won’t cut it. You know you’re doomed when more than two theory bits were left blank!
