June 8, 2016 at 6:18 pm #321017Hi,
This was harder than I thought. I managed to touch all the questions in B. The MCQ’s were too hard. some of them i just quessed. I covered most of the syllabus; at least 95% very well. I just hope I will get the 50% the want.August 8, 2013 at 9:44 am #136266I passed with 53%. UK variant. Thanks to all those who posted good advice after the December 2012 exams. I listened to you; especially, someone advised that all the questions be attempted and I took that advise to heart and thank God I passed. I’m happy with this pass mark.

it was 38 the last time. I got 46 this time but it is still a fail. maybe I should consider leaving ACCA altogether. I’m very discouraged.I will try again. maybe if I attempt all the question like some have advice I will pass. I will revise and try again so help me God.

November 14, 2012 at 9:59 am #105455I believe there is capital allowance on cars bought by the employer to be used in the business. Not on any car owned by the employee. The employee can claim mileage allowance on business mileage though.
November 14, 2012 at 12:37 am #106800I believe it has more to do with ownership….
If the UK company has > 50% ownership of the overseas , the overseas company will be treated as an associate company. Therefore cash dividends received are not group income and not treated as FII.
On the other hand, if the overseas company is controlled less than fifty percent by the the UK company, cash dividends received are treated in the same way as UK dividend and are grossed up 100/90 as FII.
I hope this works too.December 10, 2011 at 12:31 am #91031Hi,
Guys, we will all pass and look forward to the future. Today, I will rather not comment much about the paper and wait till when the results come out in February. Thanks to OpenTuition. Long live OpenTuition, long live all the Lecturers.
xxxDecember 6, 2011 at 7:46 pm #90983It was ok as compared to some of the past questions I looked at. Thump up. Hope for the best for all who sat this paper today.
xxxFebruary 21, 2011 at 10:29 am #77514I had 50% for the F4 English. I covered all the syllabus but experienced difficulties in aswering some of the questions. I didn’t do well as I wished I could but, again, I’m pleased that I’ve passed. I depended on the lectures of the OP Tutor. I will always remember OpenTuition. Thank you so much Opentuition.
December 11, 2010 at 8:13 pm #73200fionaacca, sorry to interrupt but i feel i also had similar problem during the exam. i had lots of knowledge about most of the questions that came up in the exam but to explain myself well to get the full marks. this was not easy for me.
December 8, 2010 at 7:58 am #73144I covered all the syllables well. I answered all the 10 questions but my only problem is I didn’t write much, I didn’t answer them wells . I’m just hoping for 50 marks.
