Yes, I’ve expected something like that, but in this case there wasn’t any yellow stripes nor buttons Enable. I know how it looks normally.
This is where my confusion comes from, also other instructions don’t make any sense.
And what are we supposed to calculate there? Thank you

Hi All, I was about to create a topic, but now see that not just me who’s struggling with this unit 7.
I’m totally stuck, as the instructions don’t make any sense. They say you need to download the spreadsheet (Ok, I did), then “enable” it, choose Data tab and something from the drop-down… Where should I be enabling it? There is only one tab an no drop-downs at all. Extremely confusing.

I’d appreciate any tips, experiences, suggestions.

    Thank you

The exam was ok, as expected, I’d say all topics were familiar and not too tricky. As ceriset mentioned above – as expected. To me, this exam more testing Memory, rather than knowledge.
I’m just struggling to remember all that theory and terminology, even though I understand the idea and when reviewing past exams, all answers make sense. Some people have photographic memory and are naturally able to memorise lots of text. I’m not one of them, unfortunately.

I could have written more, but my mind just went blank at some point, even though I knew that topic. Now pray to have 50% :))

    Good luck everyone!

The exam wasn’t difficult if you’ve practiced enough questions, most of them I remember seeing before, at least very similar ones. Either in revision kits or in past papers on Acca website. So, my advice to whoever is studying taxation now – do past papers and mock exams from BPP revision kit.
Still not sure whether I’ve passed it, though, as all these little bit and pieces that is so easy to forget and loose marks on.
I found it manageable and the time was enough. You either know it or not, thinking long time would confuse even more. If don’t know at all, just write what you think is right.
Not going to analyse it until get my result. Just move on and enjoy the upcoming weekend Without studying :))
