October 13, 2019 at 10:13 pm #549090Anxiety taking a toll on me as I await PM .
April 30, 2019 at 3:36 pm #514604There is a new addition and a few adjustments to the syllabus so I suggest you get the syllabus and a new revision kit. The notes will have to be amended to reflect the changes but you can still read / listen in the mean time as we await the new notes. I am planning to sit PM in September as well.
April 30, 2019 at 3:29 pm #514603There are amendments and additions to the syllabus as they added a new section making it 5 instead of 4 so I suggest you go to the acca website and look at the syllabus for Sept 2019 to June 2020 to see the additions.
I believe that all paper exams have been removed and exams are only computer base.

April 15, 2019 at 8:36 pm #512968Hey,
Thank you.
I printed the tax rates and allowances along with the OT notes. As I watch the lecturers I still made my own notes as there are things he will explain from the lecturer stand point that is not recorded in the notes. When came time to revise, if there was something I found hard to understand I will make note of it on an index card and will go it over. I also used the HMRC website. That was pretty much my method.
April 15, 2019 at 12:57 am #512516I finally passed with 63%. God is good!

November 7, 2017 at 2:05 pm #414699Thanks.
July 18, 2017 at 7:25 pm #397427This was my second attempt and I passed. Mike you made contract fun for me… thanks a lot…
@geraldjohnson before I start a chapter I read the syllabus area, then listened to the OpenTuition lecture for that syllabus area and made notes ( I had a separate book to record the lecturers notes and one for the study text information I will gather ) as this helped me gain a better understanding of what I will encounter when reading the book. I commenced my studies with the weaker areas first. Do not wait until the end of your studies to revise what you wrote down; this was a pitfall in my first attempt. The pass cards comes in handy here.If possible go through the entire revision kit, Review the examiners reports and try and
practice the last 5 years past papers.Do not give up, keep trying, you will make it. Good luck in your next sitting.
