i suffred the sam problem but emailed acca and they gave me a new passcode. mine also said authentication failed and im also an affiliate
email acca at students@accaglobal.com. They are the only guys who can give you concrete explanation. Theyll sort you out. I had a similar issue, i got affiliated with P4 but i scored 59 but couldnt access my acca though i was in the passed finalist database but wen i emailed them they gave me a new passcode and it worked. Explain the whole problem to acca and theyll sort you out, tell them u cant still acees your accountant and u arent included in passed finalist database. Note that there is an option in your myacca that allows you not to be included in the passed datrabase by unchecking a box but i doubt if thats wat applies here in but email acca quick.

guys is this only me?? I cant get access to myacca to check practice test theory or M or S theory. It says authentication failed when i try logging in. This started yesterday

hey guys im awaiting my final paper P4. This is my second attempt. I received an email containing my SA and it had in it twin articles on two ladies one qualified. This SA articles from my experience are given to only members and affiliates but then someone else i know who had a last paper to sit also received the exact SA.
This time around no link theory can exist cuz ACCA have blocked my Myacca and im guessing all MY accas, no access can be granted till results are out.kinda nervous tho
did u receive an sa student accountant magazine from acca and if yes, did the magazine include an article from two women one of them a young qualified FD?

The logic is in a share for share exchange the share price of the combined company is given for the shares of the target company..So i guess in your question yes it is the shares of the combined company. But in a question in the kit, the examiner onced used the share price of the acquiring company before the acquisition which to me dosent make sense.Think of it, share for share, give me the shares you have now, i give you share of the combined company then u become part of the combined company, a share for share.
Because whats the logic in giving a share for a share that will be no more cuz after the acquisition, there will be no acquiring company, itl be just the combined company which the target company shareholders will be.
Concluding, this is financial management, advanced for that matter, its all about explaining your assumptions on the paper. The examiner might argue differently and he might be right.Its all about stating your assumptions
i wrote in the issues that the project might be very risky and so lingo may not want to increase their beta and cost of capital by venturing into this investment.

thats something i can rmember but it goes for 9 marks so u need to write atlest 4 strong points to score an 8 i can remember only writing 2 or 3
a very time pressured paper really, i attempted question 1 2 and 4. question one was okay did the dividend capacity normally, calculated the lock in rate and chose call options and did the forward rate wrote down explanations fine i think. the discussion paper was a surprise though did it like a report but changed the title.
question 2 i thought the apv was a fair one but mistakenly forgot the fixed cost out and the government subsidy was a bit confusing.
question 4 no idea wat the Pa was just put zero and made an assumption but i read the article and wrote sound assumptions. gues 10 marks for assumptions.
b, had no idea what rho was just wrote about interest rate risk
c was general knowlege on world bank and IDAhoping for a pass atleast in sha allah
considering john isnt here yet and its just 3 hours to the exam the answer is u probably move out of the country facing economic risk and move into good countries with good economies.

the first example its a mutually exclusive situation, they must undertake the investment now or delay till the future so they choose one either to invest now or in 2 years time and since in 2 years time option valuation gives the higher npv thats what theyll obviously choose.
the second and third examples are not mutually exclusive. the company can enjoy both npvs.
they can undertake investment and get that option to sell it at the end of its usefull life or they can undertake investment and pursue a follow on project also simultaneously in 2 years. so theyll enjoy both npvs so for that reason we add.I hope this answers your question.

well lol, u know at this stage i think lets just wait for midnight. the situation is tense, our employers are waiting,nerves are high and lives are at stake.
I am sure marking and uploading your finalist result will have little or notthing to do with a practice test concernin f1-f4 papers. if they were p1 -p7 practice tests, then ill be concerned. Maybe there practice tests were never even working before for the ones who cant access it, maybe its now they realise it.
so shaami if u we both qualify in sha allah, come back here in the future and tell the fture finalists not to ever rely on hints again lol.
so the day is today, so all theories aside, lets face this, its just hours ahead.
i am a finalist and i can still access my practice test but the issue is even is u affiliated, you can now still attempt the other two options. so its not like you are ‘completely through” if u know wat i mean, my p6 and p5 are open to be ticked and sat even if i pass and become affiliate. so that theory of them removing the practice test is a bit flawed. by the way if yours have been removed, wats now written there, is it a note there stating ”you are no longer able to select practice tests” or is it like the connection gets timed out or the page says 404 error.
if ur ers is frozen either 5th or 6th then i think its a wonderful sign cuz wat other possible reason does acca have to freeze it right before editing. well im sorry to say but if ur ers isnt frozen then its a cause for concern. I hope all our ers gets frozen.
By the way its just my theory, theres a high possibility im wrong
