Thank you so much. I was thinking to do section B first as I am better with shorter scenarios and ensure I stick to strict time management .So you did one Section B, then section A them the second question in section B?
I did the B question which I was the strongest on, then A then B, but stuck to the allocated times on each.

Can you please share your exam technique with me? What made you pass? What did you do differently when revising for this 5th occasion? I just failed for a 3rd time.I attended a BPP question day which really helped but the main thing I believe was I this time I started with a section B question and really stuck to my timings. That meant I at least attempted all the sections in all questions. And lots of question practice. Good luck for the next sitting, I know how you feel but you will do it

July 15, 2018 at 10:34 am #462368Good luck all for the results later, not too much longer to wait. I’m going to enjoy the beautiful sunny day with my daughter.
July 13, 2018 at 11:23 am #462045I’m and in the UK and waiting for P5 (5th attempt), I see @members where previously I have always seen @ students……..but I’m not going to take this as a pass, I will not believe until I see the email Monday.

That’s something that’s bothering me. Professional papers have low pass rates and it seems most people on this forum saw MI agree with you, there seen to be a high number of people seeing @member compared to previous times. I see member, but will not believe anything until I see the results on Monday
July 12, 2018 at 9:48 am #461716I’m in the UK
July 12, 2018 at 9:47 am #461715I have logged on the e-business and mine say @members, but I’m not going to get my hopes up too much, I will be waiting for Monday with bated breath
June 6, 2018 at 4:29 pm #457116I did deduct the head office costs as it was uncontrollable
June 6, 2018 at 4:22 pm #457108How was it even possible to score 20 marks on the performance report?! It was a hard paper!

Honestly i did not check i would rather wait for the final results… by the way this was my fourth sitting for the P5 examThis is my forth attempt to, and I only failed by 2 marks in December, I don’t think I have passed this one as I really struggled for time. Good luck!

I find the key to success is to practice as many questions as possible. I use BPP study texts first, but never feel like I’ve learnt much from the first read through – it’s only when I start doing questions that I really learn anything. Then I’ll also use OT lectures to help if I’m struggling to grasp a particular concept – they have been a massive help on these exams.
Also, read the ACCA technical articles – I always try to read as many as possible as they sometimes indicate topics which ACCA think are important, although that doesn’t mean they are guaranteed to come up in the exam!
I hope all this that weren’t successful this time pass next time – don’t give up!
Hi Deborah
Congratulations on passing P5, you say you read the technical articles, did you read all of them as there are quite a few or pick the most recent?
Thanks
January 12, 2018 at 2:30 pm #428706This forum is stressing me out, I though I had done OK in the exam but the more I read about all these theories and changes to pages, the more I think I haven’t passed! I’m a finalist and really need to pass this final exam, as I’m sure we all do! I’m signing off of the forum and going to wait until Monday.
Good luck to all of you
December 21, 2017 at 9:31 am #424274I did P5, my 3rd attempt. I feel ok about this one much better than the last 2, but you just never know. I’m glad I have Christmas to try to keep my mind of it. Fingers crossed for all of us!
October 14, 2017 at 4:13 pm #410963I really hope this is true, it’s gives me some last hope that I have passed, I really hope so with this being my final one! No one will know for sure until Monday!
Good luck to all
October 12, 2017 at 1:53 pm #410555I’m gutted, mine still says student. Another resit is P5
October 5, 2017 at 9:15 pm #409598I got awaiting results then clicked in add exam, it says no exams left to add, you have complete or booked all available exams.
I don’t think it’s anything to read into, it’s just saying that you can’t book any more until you have your results.
Good luck to all in the 16th
October 4, 2017 at 4:12 pm #409447I’m a finalist and received this email, with the SA Oct App now live, I believe these are generic emails and don’t have any bearing on exam results.
July 12, 2017 at 11:42 am #395574I don’t have the qualification box showing letter of good standing and when I click exams I get a blank screen
July 11, 2017 at 11:45 am #395432I’m a finalist and can’t see any restrictions, it’s all getting very stressful. Roll on Monday morning!
July 10, 2017 at 6:12 pm #395205There was an email from the ACCA saying not to attempt to to get exam results in advance and I don’t know how emails from tuition providers can prove anything, they don’t know how we all got on in our exams.
July 10, 2017 at 7:29 am #395142I think you have to print the letter to be able to see it
July 3, 2017 at 11:54 am #394599I started mine in 2009, I was exempt from F1, F2 and F3. It has taken me this long as I had a some personal issues so took a few years out and then had a baby 3 years ago, so more time off.
I will glad when it is all over with!
