Hi Sarah
Im in the same boat here. Try and not panic, we can only do our best. My tutor says theres lots of easy marks to be had in this exam so focus on those. im going to spend tomorrow revising some F6 that i have forgotten and then getting stuck into some questions.
This is my last exam so i feel i am more nervous!
all the best

January 16, 2017 at 10:10 am #367459I was told that if anyone gets 48/49 then its already marked by about 4 different people before results are issued. So i would say, its not worth it.
July 18, 2016 at 9:40 am #326815Passed with 61% first time attempt. On to my last two P6 & P7 🙂 I am very happy and I use RCA Edinburgh classes, lots of past paper questions and practice and most important a positive mental attitude 🙂
April 18, 2016 at 8:29 am #310981Got 50%!! so happy as thought i had failed for sure!
December 5, 2013 at 11:46 am #150612I think the examiner has been gradually trying to bring the pass rate up as its always been low. lets hope its not a harder paper – this is my 4th attempt and i’m dreading it!! last one to complete in the F level and already passed P1!
February 13, 2012 at 9:02 am #9340570% yey!
December 10, 2011 at 1:43 pm #916982 questions on contract – one usually a theory based, other a case study. usually a case study on company law but could be agents, directors, insider dealing, partnership.
its a pretty big syllabus so do the past papers and it will give you an idea – i think question spotting would be a struggle for this paper to be honest.
good luck!April 14, 2011 at 12:11 pm #80656BPP have pages on this in the book – my tutor has suggested this topic is highly examible in June for about 10-15 marks
December 13, 2010 at 3:27 pm #74558i failed – i cant believe everyone saying it was easy. i thought it was so hard, maybe i just wasnt prepared enough but i did study alot.
o well just have to hope i get through F7 tomorow – need to work hard on last min revision tonight!!August 23, 2010 at 7:48 am #66005August 23, 2010 at 7:45 am #66119i passed with 63% woohoooo 🙂

just wondering…after that paper do you think we should consider starting tuitiion and working on F6 as from July or wait for result?just wait for result – you never know what might happen. unless of course you didnt answer enough to get 50%?
June 7, 2010 at 2:45 pm #62274yes it was a very challenging paper – question 1 was ok but very lengthly. questions 2 ok but i bit tougher, 3 for me was the worst and then 4 and 5 were not much easier. overall a tough paper and not really what i was expecting. im glad there were alot of VAT questions as i deal with this in my day to day work – im hoping these marks will enable me a pass along with questions 1 and 2.
i went through paper at the end and think i have scraped a pass but it could go either way.June 4, 2010 at 9:58 am #62032ive not even heard of it in the text so is it in FA09?
June 2, 2010 at 4:52 pm #61829i dont think there is a married couple allowance anymore – your books seem old for a tax paper….
the only allowance i know of is capital gain tax where you can trans your asset to your spouse without paying any CGTMay 31, 2010 at 6:30 pm #60965it is 4 years however these are the new rules and are quite new – its used to be 3 years.
