Hi friends
Could anyone explain about Married Couple Allowance in detail please ? Like rate , allowance , how it is treated etc etc ???
In 08-09 books it is specified but coudnt find in OT pdf notes.

i dont think there is a married couple allowance anymore – your books seem old for a tax paper….
the only allowance i know of is capital gain tax where you can trans your asset to your spouse without paying any CGT

There is a Married Couples allowance but I don’t think it is part of the F6 syllabus.
