First time pass 66%, now an affiliate woo!
June 26, 2019 at 9:16 am #521339My understanding is that you cannot, as the requirements for classifying an asset as held for sale include that it is ready for sale. If it is leased out to another party, it is not ready for sale.
June 26, 2019 at 9:14 am #521338If you did SBR i would recommend AA. AA very closely follows SBR.
As you struggled with the foundation PM i would definitely not recommend doing APM, as this paper is significantly more advanced.

I was certain ED540 was coming up and I even mentioned this in the AAA forum.Time management was ridiculous but I thought content was fair.
Q1 asked for ROMM but it also told you it was a new client, yet the examiner tells you everything is included for a reason, a new client is an audit risk (detection risk) but not a ROMM and if credit is given for that as a risk I will be livid.
I couldn’t find an awful lot wrong with the audit report but thought there were a couple of things right with it so answer included 6 points 4 con, 2 pro just hoping it was 2 marks per point
Good luck to you all
It was my post you put this in, and thank god you did!
Whilst i had only skimmed it, so wasnt exactly an expert on the topic, hopefully i have done enough to pick up a crucial few marks where most people will get nil

It worries me that there is the same response after every sitting of this paper.Your aim at every sitting is to write 100 marks worth of content.
Too many AAA students see 6 pages of scenario and panic. You probably need to read less than half of it to get full marks.
Completely agree with this. Although i left gaps where i could have developed points more to get a few more marks, i moved on to ensure i got the ‘easy marks’ of every question.
Time will tell if i got them, but it has served me well on every other exam 🙂

no worries. is it true to say for a groups question (question 1) there was almost nothing to say that was groups related ? except to confirm that Bronte is not an associate, to confirm that they have 18% but dont have significant influenceIm pretty sure that was put in to show that Bronte wasnt part of the group. As for Bronte, i think substance over form would mean they are an associate and should be equity accounted.

Looks like my perfect pass record has fallen at the penultimate hurdle
