Also can you guide me a little of what all should I be prepared with regarding the details they can ask. Also I had a terrible sleep less night can you tell me what be the worst case scenario if I am unable to satisfy them? Please guide π

March 28, 2020 at 5:05 pm #566054Hi
I am in distress , please help me
I was planning to submit my OBU thesis in period 40 in May and did finish some of it.
But I am really confused about the requirement and deadline for ethics module? There are two modules on my acca page:1 Ethics module (which I completed after completing my F9 back in 2016 and got my advance diploma)
2.Ethics in professional skills module which I completed yesterday on 27th March as I thought the deadline was 28th infact it is 25th March. Please tell me which module is necessary requirement for OBU? And if I did miss the deadline by two days I won’t be able to submit in period 40? π
Please help me

Mar – 29%
Jun – 38%Not disappointed, just tired of it now. It’s my last exam and it’s showing me flames. I was not using OT on both occasions. I will give OT a try for the Sep sitting.
How should I use OT now that it’s a resit?
I got 31 marks on my first attempt (self study ).did not use Opentuition thoroughly even though every person here said how awesome the lectures were…on my second attempt I decided to give in completely..watched each & every lecture here on P4 even some from F9 (my base is really weak because of self studying) practiced a lot..attempt each question at least twice..and practice the last 5 years of past papers.
And even though I managed to attempt only 75% of the paper I got a Pass …so its all about handwork and giving in completely ..best of luck!July 16, 2018 at 3:00 pm #463202Passed on my second attempt with just completing 75% of the paper..God has been kind alhumdulillah !
June 1, 2018 at 2:44 pm #455276thanku for the answer but Im still confused in the first point..what I meant to ask was that we are selling the Eview clubs which are a part of business…so why is the profit on selling a part of business not calculated as expected price to recieve less the current value of the business?
May 24, 2018 at 2:58 pm #453759Sir Im a little confused with calculating the value of Pa

May 14, 2018 at 8:20 pm #451934also sir in part c (ii) of this question…
pls let me know why is this way of calculation wrong?Cash offer – 1.33
Hav’s share – 9.24
less 2 strand co ‘s share (4.76 x 2) =9.52
PREMIUM= 1.05
% premium = 1.05/4.76 x 100 = 22%May 14, 2018 at 7:20 pm #451917this is ques no 2 from june 2013
May 7, 2018 at 5:44 pm #450491oh yes got that but the answer was slightly higher than 120 so I got confused thanks…sir can I ask why are we then not discounting 70million of debt for 4 years??
May 7, 2018 at 2:08 pm #450462I mean why are they not finding the pv of debt of 120million using the new cost of debt of 6.2% and then adding it to 70 million?
May 7, 2018 at 2:06 pm #450461sir can u also explain how have they calculated the value of debt as 190 million in after the second director’s proposal??
May 6, 2018 at 12:51 pm #450316Sir can you also explain me why do we have to calculate WACC when we have already used the capm formula…is 14.4% not the cost of capital?
April 29, 2018 at 8:21 pm #449380Hello sir I solved this question without using ticks and exactly as you explained in your lecture pls tell me where am I going wrong:
actual loan int: 34m x 6/12 x (3.6+0.8+0.7)% = 867000
exercise options : 6 x 1m x ( 95.6 – 95.44)/400 ) = 27200 so NET result after premium = 867000 + 27200 – 51680 = 842520why is this not giving the correct answer..ticks confuse me so Ive learnt by this method. pls help !
April 25, 2018 at 6:39 pm #448843sir I dont get it the home currency is pounds so while converting wont we sell the dollars to exchange them to pounds in order to pay the premium??

Also can you pls explain what are they doing in this question in general for currency futures why have they added 0.0078 to 1.5275 and used 1.5353 and then found the closing futures..

April 22, 2018 at 10:10 pm #448474oh ohkayy so now I get it but I have a very small confusion here that 1.1585 converted is 0.8632 and 1.1618 converted is 0.8607 so won’t we take this smaller rate per dollar as the spot rate??
thankyou for your response
