Hi Ashim,
You can email me at hd.acca.tb@gmail.com or reply to this thread with your question.
Please note that I took the UK variant of ATX so I may have limited experience of other variants.
November 6, 2023 at 3:48 pm #694483I can’t believe this, but I happened to check my spam folder today and saw that I got an email from OpenTuition announcing I had won the prize hunt.
Unfortunately Gmail’s spam filter put the email in the spam folder because the title started with “You are the winner of…”
Is there any way I can still claim the prize, please?
October 23, 2023 at 4:23 pm #693895APM is a challenging paper from what the statistics suggest. On a very good sitting only 35% of students seem to be able to pass it.
I would say you should first finish the ESPM (Ethics and Professional Skills module – this can be done online at your own pace), then attempt either SBL or SBR. These are compulsury papers so you will have to do them sooner or later, and they tend to have a higher pass rate (51%).
Attempting those two will give you practice on how to use the CBE (Computer-Based Exam) facilities, and passing them will give you a confidence boost.
After that you should decide which two of APM, ATX, AFM and AAA to go for.
Personally I picked ATX and AFM as they are more technically challenging (read: more numbers), but every student will have different circumstances (requirements by employers, nature of their roles, better at theoretical discussions…) so you should consider what is the most suitable for your career.
October 17, 2023 at 10:27 am #693587I passed with 87% using a Workbook and Revision Kit.
I got an exemption for the TX paper so OpenTuition provided tremendous help in building my TX foundation before I could delve into ATX.
October 12, 2023 at 8:22 pm #693084I go to bed every night counting down how many sleeps are left until midnight of Sunday. Studying for the ATX paper took a lot out of me and I really hope it was worth it.
August 16, 2023 at 6:03 pm #690046Thank you. It is now possible to buy textbooks again on the BPP website!
However, te OpenTuition discount code does not seem to work anymore. Thankfully they have a 20% blanket discount for purchases by 31 August 2023.
August 9, 2023 at 8:46 pm #689641Thank you for the info!
