I was lucky to finishing on the line….50% and finally Affiliated….Hooooooray. Expected to earn more for this paper as I love AFM…but the paper was very tough and hard…Anyway happy with the spirit of 50%….. I wish all the best for those who passed and the guys who were not successful this time Don’t Give Up the Fight…..this was a very hard paper this time… you can do it next time and best wishes for your June exam….Finally I must thank Opentuition for their resources and hope to helping hands with OT in years to come…Thank you guys.

If you had answered fairly OK….make sure that you used black ballpoint pen only to write your answers…you must not use black Gel pens or fountain pens to write your answers….

I failed P3 38% (P2 passed with 54%), I know I did not work hard, Never mind. I will try it September with much confidence and readiness. I wish all the best for the winners and advice the losers not to worry about the past. We can do it.

Fair value of a share of unquoted company (Mach) is PE ratio of the similar quoted company 19 times multiply by the EPS of the unquoted company (ie.3600/26000)

I did it like this FV per share = 19 x 3600 (profit for the year) / 26000 (number of ordinary shares)

I dont know whether I am correct or wrong. Any way it was a hard question I only managed try 80 marks.

I got 46 for P1 This can not be acceptable at all…..I expected around 75 marks. I am pretty sure that I answered well for the paper…is there any way to request to ACCA for rescrutiny of my answer scripts…….

Faisal …even if you have not referred TARA modal in your answer you have indigenously used it…your strategies and comments are very inspiring I believe you must get about 80% of the marks for that part…

Marta.. I too used TARA model…I choose for Risk 1 and Risk 2 the risk transfer strategy.. Risk – 4 risk reduction strategy and for other Avoidance…I am not sure at all…but they must give us at least 50% of the marks since you don’t have the time to write more about it…

    Paper was ok..
Anjaana… I too did Q2 …it was ok…… but I am pretty sure I am not an exceptional case..

I can remember what the question was…. may be the one that related to principal based approach and rule based approach for CG. it was a straight forward question…
