I don’t think I’ll be ready to attempt P2 in march. I’ll try both in June!. Thanks

Would you recommend any specific sites to use which would help in learning the standards. I have already started going through study texts…

I’m quite annoyed at how time pressured this exam was!

Q1 just had too much within it and took me way longer to complete. I chose option Q3 & Q4. Q3 was quite nice and i feel like it may be the only thing which switches me to a pass mark! Q4 was actually quite unfair and set you up for a fail, however the management accountant part of Q4 might’ve got me some decent marks.

Overall I felt there was just too much information to get through and too many parts to each twisted question which meant time allocation went out the window!! I can now see why this exam has such a low pass rate

This paper was very challenging. Felt the examiner was too focused on trying to catch us out with clever wording in Q1. I had prepared myself to deal with some unknown issues however this paper seem to be a completely different style to all previous papers. I think I’ve probably lost some of the marks which I would have hoped would have been a given – ie NCI!

Also Q1 consisted of a lot of different standards – took me longer than 1.5 hrs needed but felt the time was well spent so I should hopefully get the ethics marks!…Chose Q3/Q4 as options and think i made the right choice – hope they get me to a pass mark.

Yes it has helped. Still not sure how I go about this though as I struggled with f7 and so I will find p2 challenging. I want to get through as many of the final 5 exams a possible this year and bit scared that p2 is going to hold me back from that. I suppose there is no avoiding it!

Thanks for the quick response Mike.

How much of F7 is relevant for P2? Could I possibly sit p1/p3 in June and then do p1/p7 together at a later date or will I then have to go back and refresh on f7/f8?
