failed with 43 on my first attempt. But not even sure how to restart. I had started taking lectures for Audit, and wondering if I should do them both on the next sitting after failing this one.

    Hi John,

I thought I should add my question here about BIG DATA since it shares the heading with this.

I have this statement from the BPP text which does not make sense to me, and I would love you to clarify more about this.

It says that the statement “Big data analytics allows businesses to analyze and reveal insights in data which they have previously been able to analyze.”

I thought big data allows businesses to analyze multiple businesses they were not able to analyze before..!

I think the correct entry is

    Dr.Purchases $300 and Cr.Cash $300

this is simply because in the transaction they did not specify where the cash was coming from. It could have been bank if they said something like paying through check.

    Hi Benny,
The correct answer is A. Below is the calculation procedures.

4960*90%= 3924 (this is amount after removing the trade discount.)
3924*95%= 3727.8 (amount that could be paid if he paid the full amount in 10 days)

however, he only paid half of the debt. This means that he paid
    3727.8/2 = 1863.9

the rest of the debt amount was paid without any cash discount. This means the remaining half was 3924/2 = 1962.00

Thus the amount of money on the pay order = $1962.00+$1863.90 = $3825.90

    Hey Guys,
I am Erick, I also need a couple of friends to study with FA1 online. Currently I am studying with some few friends offline, but I hope this will be cool too.
