January 13, 2017 at 9:22 pm #366320I just can’t understand Acca allowing this to happen. All sounds a bit of BS to be honest!!!!

December 1, 2016 at 9:28 pm #352990Hi there
I did pass P6 in September and now getting ready to sit P7 on Monday. My final exam, can’t believe it, I am almost there, one final big push!! Please don’t give up it is so worth it the buzz you get when you pass!! Will actually miss that but certainly won’t miss the epic downer when you fail!! Lets hope come January I will be having the ultimate buzz!!
July 25, 2016 at 9:33 pm #329101It gives me a great deal of inspiration reading these stories. I have decided to give P6 another go in September 16. I am determined to pass. This then leaves me one more option. Not sure what one to do but will hope to get P6 out the way first then decide. Fingers crossed by this time next year it will all be over and I will be qualified at 45!!!
Thank you for all stories it absolutely helps me to know I am not alone in this struggle!!

October 11, 2015 at 10:16 am #275856Hi there
I am doing Topic 2 and most of my information is from internal non published documents like internal audit report and a terms of reference report. I have got written authorisation to say OK to use extracts from these documents. My question is do I require to include these extracted documents as an appendix to allow the marker to back up information in my RR as they would have no other way in justifying what I am saying. What is the best way to include as appendix? I also have interview questions and responses, do I just give a summary of findings from interview and then attach full explanations as appendix?
October 5, 2015 at 7:25 pm #275080Hi there
Your advise is really good thanks. This question may have been answered before but looking through other posts I can’t find. Do I include the SWOT analysis i.e. the table show the SWOT as part of my RR or do I just give a summary of my findings based on the SWOT in the RR and add the actual table of SWOT as an appendix? Also, same question for a cost benefit analysis?
October 3, 2015 at 11:55 am #274804Thank you for your advice and I certainly will take it on board. Because of my topic a lot of my research is from internal documents i.e. internal audit report giving the recommendations in the first instance, terms of reference from consultant to implement project, internal PI’s showing the improvement or not of invoice processing etc. I am unsure how to reference these documents. I was planning on adding as an appendix, so do I reference both the appendix and the author, year ie (appendix1, Pringle, 2013) or just the appendix. Also, I was thinking on doing a cost benefit analysis, getting the actual costs is not too difficult but for benefits, I would have to apply an estimate of cost i.e time saving, less paper, better control etc. Do you think this would be OK to do.
September 30, 2015 at 9:07 pm #274352My mentor is ACCA qualified but not currently on list. If I wish to submit my P31 RAP in November is there a time limit for my mentor to apply to be put on the mentoring list?
September 29, 2015 at 7:51 pm #274151Hi there
I currently work for a housing association (not for profit charity) and I am looking to do my RAP on the implementation of a purchase ordering system and the upgrade to the financial system. I was closely involved in this implementation and have a lot of information to hand. I intend to interview some key personnel, carry out a SWOT analysis. My aim is to identify why the need for this implementation, what benefits/limitations have come about due to the implementation and what the future holds (development etc). I would like to complete my RAP and submit for the latest timeframe in November 18th 2015. However, it looks like you are averaging 3 months for the completion. My 2 questions are would there be any other models you think would be beneficial to my RAP and also do you think it would be feasible to complete within this timeframe?
Thanks in advance.
