If it was the same paper that I had with executives/non executive section yes too many selections of 4 answers of true/false. One wrong you are screwed…

I thought it was decent paper but really didnt like the 14 marks for controls that were good with purchases and sales and NCA. Knew 3/4 controls but I have never seen the other ones pop up anywhere in my lectures/past a papers of last 3 years.Got 46% last time surely enough for a pass this time round

Yes I found this the same. Actually didnt think section B was too bad. Really hope I put enough detail for the marks.Section A really disliked. That will be the make or break for me

Thanks for the response. Its just their was two questions and one question you had to add in depreciation but another you didnt so it was pretty confusing to see why it was happening. As I thought you never include depreciation?? So they have to tell you if it is included or not??

32% 3rd time. I thought the Exam I had on the day was by far the hardest of the 3 and was even pondering if I am in advanced performance management! Joke. An absolutely nasty Exam. This exam is definitely passable so going to keep going. Pass or fail going onto Auditing after this.

First 15 Questions Section A ok

Section B with the Sales Volume and Pricing Operational/Planning completely screwed me I only studied Material Planning and Pricing and then the Limiting factors in Section B couldnt answer any. Target Costing cost gap question was extremely complicated as the other ones I have always done in past papers and Mocks nothing compared to this!

Section C was a bit of an odd one as I have never done Adjustments with the Flexed Budget only flexed the budget prob got fukall marks for that. Then the Beyond Budgeting V Traditional really Tricky.

ROI was a joke I see past exams that have full 20 Mark Non Fin/Fin Question very easy marks then the ROI with 4 Marks only for figuring out ROI and RI ONLY the rest Theory and hard theory what a joke. Really dont think that is fair in my eyes.Anyway guess study what i didnt do well and Hope I get a decent question C next time out

Second attempt. That NPV Question without Inflation,Capital Allowances and Working Capital really sucked as I studied so hard for a 10/12 Mark PV Question. Second exam they gave crap marks for NPV and on top of that they also gave a discounted sensitivity question I had no Idea to address.

The other Question C Question was a very hard Raising Finance Question. Again was really expecting a 10 marker WACC or 12 Marker Working Capital Question..

The Section A had a few simple ones but Behavioural Finance question and what is Fintech lol?? also tough IRR question along with another few toughies

Section B had Exchance section in which they asked”Leading amount” again I didnt know to answer? Hedging too. Their was 4/5 easy enough ones to answer but got confused in a WACC Question with the 6% loan notes and the value?? Thy had the nominal and the amount in SOFP but couldnt find the MV??

Going to need a lot of luck to pass and definitely found this harder then the September one. Ahh well June will have to do otherwise

Hi John still a bit confused as to how to get 4.47 years.This is my working

Year 1 130 x .909 = 118.17
Year 2 130 x .826 = 107.38
Year 3 130 x .751 = 97.63
Year 4 130 x .683 = 88.79 411.97
Year 5 150 x 0.621 = 93.15

Inv 450 – 411.97 = 38.03/ Year 5 93.15 = .41 so I am getting 4.41??

Where is the other 0.06 coming from??

In regards to the Mock Exams I have done the 3 free ones on ACCA Website and One Mock
from Acca where did you get the other ones as I need to do more of these in case I didnt do well

Hi Kim, Yeah I did the couse way back in June and was supposed to do the exam in June but never did. So I rang my provider which is Accounting School and they put me on for the Mock Exam so I now have the Mock Exam in ACCA platform. But my question is they use to give mock exams every 3 months without having a provider so if I didnt have a provider like accounting school how would I get them??? Second question is is it the same mock for everyone or are they different??? Thanks

Hi Kim,As long as I could remember their was always a mock exam for Most of the exams. I have done the 2 Practice Exams and Specimen Exam 3 times but am finding it repetitive. Will their be a Mock exam for FM and also where on earth could you get more Mock exams they are so hard to find!! I would love to do so much more for prep before the real thing

Just keep going! I passed on my third attempt 50% on the button I know how hard it is redoing the same exam over and over
