Failed at 35%. I genuinely cant recall whether this was my 5th or 6th attempt at this paper. Quite shocked not to be able to break out from the orbit of 35% ish.

All the more surprising when i pass p5 1st time on this sitting… with the reputation that p5 has. Really cant see where i am going wrong.

Will have to think whether to sit again or try p4/p6.

Learning curve effect pls switch to p4

It went horrible for me. My mind was exhausted after the first 50 marker which had 3 big topics inside. I just wasted my time in section B by decided which one to chose and made the stupid decision of choosing ABC/ABM and Transfer pricing. Became a victim to ACCA. Had never failed anything before.

    the same to me

ah you can think simple like that:

you produce a product A included DM, DL, FOH. so traditionally you know exactly how much DM and DL for product A but FOH you can not so you allocate base on propotion of DM or Dl —-> it is traditional management accounting.

ABC is different, you will find detailed cost drivers to allocate such as dep expense is value of FA used for product A, electric expense is Kilowat used for product A, factory rental is m2 used for products A, head of department is number of hrs involved in product A…

you see the different between 2 method and find the ad and dis between 2 methods

    Hi man,
you should check the transfer price you are asking is in limited or unlimited condition, because iam practise BPP so it hard to guide detailed

    Limited : TP= MC + sales foregone
Unlimited : TP = MC only

    Hi men

EVA = Nopa – CE x WacC in which Nopa we dont adjust for depreciation expense because it equal to economic depreciation. Therefore, low cost mean low economic dep and Nopa will increase meanwhile economic depreciation is very subjective and hard to define.
