Pass this time around with 57%. It was my final paper. I had sat in December and failed with 45% but with the help of John and his lectures on hedging I corrected a weakness that ultimately was key to my success.
If you have failed, think about which part(s) you struggled with and then focus your studies for a resit on that. Pick one random topic in the syllabus a week to keep other areas fresh!
March 10, 2023 at 8:52 pm #681037I used the equity value that was quoted divided by the PAT for the predator company then to get the PE for the target company it was quoted that it was 80% of the predators PE.

January 18, 2021 at 9:23 pm #607038Focus on Section C practice in your revision, then you will be able to answer Sections A and B easily as it’s applying the same theory but on shorter questions.
January 18, 2021 at 11:13 am #606761If you focus on the Sec C questions, consolidated financial statements etc to get the most from the 20 markers you will be able to use that knowledge to answer Sec A & B.

December 11, 2020 at 7:33 am #599335@rowe992 The amount of investment for the share exchange was in the non current assets of the parent company individual SOFP and I think it was 34,000. Total consideration paid would have been that plus the deferred consideration.
December 10, 2020 at 7:53 pm #599237Sec B I had Leases, Revenue and Assets. Sec C I got Box Co with Ratio analysis And Python & Snake consolidated SOFP.
Both section C’s were not too bad. Did anyone have these and how did you find them?
