    i was in a similar place failed three times passed on fourth attempt. I didn’t find that the quality of my answers were any different but I made sure that if the question was on say risk that I would expound on the elements of risk in answering the question. you have to show the examiner that you know the topic of the question in providing an answer. don’t write aimlessly, but show your knowledge in answering the question.

    also you will find from reading business news current audit issues that you can insert in your answers to show that you are an involved student. like i used olympus’ japan current audit issues in answering a question last sitting.

    additionally watch for the examiners articles that come a week or two before the exam, usually they discuss a topic that is coming on the exam.

    keep working on it and good hunting….

    60%, the problem i have with the marking is that I don’t feel that I wrote more quality than in previous attempts where i scored 49%. I just made a more concerted effort to ‘name drop’ the associated topic in the question even if the explanation wasn’t as detailed.
