    Thank you

I usually used the lectures along side the Kaplan textbook and tried to start past paper questions as soon as possible

The best advice I can give is keep doing past papers. I completed every past paper question around 4 times each and spend time going over the correct answer.

I have used this method for all my exams to date and have passed each one first time so that’s the best advice I can give.

Also try to do the questions under exam conditions just before the exam. I usually found that i spent too long answering questions and always needed to brush up on my technique to not take as long answering questions

Best of luck with you exams

    Passed with 80%

Was really nervous about this result as I had a number of IT issues during my exam and lost around 35 mins of time but submitted mitigating circumstances so really happy with my result

I done my whole exam in the word processor and didn’t use the excel spreadsheet.

I think it would be very rare to have to use the excel spreadsheet although some questions would require use of it for some parts but in general most answers would be done on the word processor.

    Thats what i found anyway

    Hi,

I passed advanced performance management and found that it was very scenario based questions and a lot of theory and not so much calculations as performance management was.

It doesn’t really go into too much detail in certain areas with performance management but the knowledge is expected to be known for advanced performance management.

As you mentioned it is more geared to making theory based observations from the information with the odd supporting calculations given rather than detailed calculations.

APM also focuses more on information systems and IT which wasn’t really questioned in performance management i found.

    Hope this helps
