I failed again. This is the third time that I have done this exam. First 2 times I got 32%. Now I get 47%. I am at a loss for words. Where did I go wrong. I finished all the questions, I understood what was being asked and responded just like when I practiced questions. I shaded each page to reflect the question I was doing. I did mock exams. I read the study text 5 times. I made notes. I attempted all questions in the Revision Kit. I am just so fed up with ACCA, this is just frustrating.
February 1, 2016 at 7:46 pm #298886@nzeadall I did consider paying for a review but that just seems like a waste of time now so I have decided to do over the exam in March. I do agree with you that it seems as though the quality standard has dropped with their correction process but like you said there really is no form of redress that students can take. I just hope that when I do the exam again the same person who corrected my December 2015 paper does not correct my March 2016 paper. There should be an online petition but ACCA has total autonomy and students would be afraid to be victimized if they sign this petition. I would like to see the chain of emails if you are still willing to share.
January 30, 2016 at 2:37 am #298502I feel the same way. This is my second time doing this exam and I failed again with the same pass 32%.How could I get the same exact mark? I was sure I was going to pass because the questions in my opinion was easy enough to understand. I did not finish the last question but that was one question, I did all the others the best of my ability, and I should have achieved at least 50% in each question. I am extremely frustrated right now as I have to redo this exam again. When I opened the results email and saw the fail my heart just sank into the earth. This is not fair I am extremely disappointed with ACCA and I am beginning to feel as though students are failed on purpose. I was studying since September hardcore and I did all the questions from BPP practice and revision kit. Does anyone else feel this way?
