Failed – 36% . sourav 228 please how can I get the short notes by KAMRUL sir (CPA) ?
Passed with 70% in first attempt, opentuition lectures & notes helped alot.. Keep the good work going..
43% first attempt .please what are the tips for me to pass for my second attempt.
Offcourse I didn’t manage to attempt last question. that’s contribute to my fail.
Please advise.Passed with 55% 3rd attempt, am so pleased! I tried a different approach this time MCQS first then the large questions 5 & 6, figured if I ran out of time this time I would only lose out on a ten mark question!
I finally passed f8 getting 54%, in December I failed with 49%. I worked on my English and writing technique, for me this was the difference between marginal fail and pass.

48 second attempt, 48 first attempt in December also.
Thought I definitely passed this time. Just cant work out where am I going wrong?50% first attlempt!!…..To Allah be the glory!……….Actually thought i was going to get around 80% so somewhat disappointed.
I failed again. This is the third time that I have done this exam. First 2 times I got 32%. Now I get 47%. I am at a loss for words. Where did I go wrong. I finished all the questions, I understood what was being asked and responded just like when I practiced questions. I shaded each page to reflect the question I was doing. I did mock exams. I read the study text 5 times. I made notes. I attempted all questions in the Revision Kit. I am just so fed up with ACCA, this is just frustrating.

Congrats to all who passed and for others who couldnt make it, keep working hard in the smart way and hopefully you will crack it next time. Hats off to opentuition.com for the help. Please make your video lectures available to be downloaded. It will help people who don’t have access to high speed Internet 24/7. Thanks guys!For those who failed my advice is:
Read all the examiner’s reports, and mark their words! F8 paper is 50% knowledge and 50% interpretation! Many fellow student already pointed out this many times, but this is very very important to understand!!!
Answer type 1: “check the lists of companies” or “check calculations”
it is 0 mark for sure regardless the question.Answer type 2: Usually a proper answer has 2-3 parts:
what you do + why you do that + how you do that,
stating specific “audit actions” (I don’t use “procedures” here to avoid misunderstandings). The previous 2 answers should be something like this:
“Scrutinise lists of companies going into receivership up to the date of signing to ensure none of them are customers of the company”, and
“Obtain an analysis of the redundancy calculations and cast it to ensure completeness”
an answer like this might get you 0.5-1 mark!If you understand the difference between the 2 answer types you cannot fail ! ! !

Failed with 40%. This was my first attempt and sitting again in June. I was expecting at least 70% after a quick tally in the last 5 mins of the exam (even allowing for my own marking error), so quite shocked I got such a low mark. Clearly I don’t have a clue where I am going wrong or what content I thought I knew but actually don’t! Onwards and upwards but I’m sure not taking this subject as a P exam!!
Failed with 49% (1st attempt). Pretty gutting to be honest.
Was going to do F7 in June but will just resit this. Should hopefully be able to find an extra mark or two somewhere!
Pass 75% first attempt with opentuition lectures and BPP Notes. I read all technical articles and examiner comments. To God be the glory. Moving to my last F series F9.
