Anyone sat for the second week AFM after issues in the Friday one..
Just sat it today and section A was really tough ..with bonds ..
section B reasonable with divestment and hedging (futures and collars)..I think its best to keep trying until you pass. Just passed on 2nd attempt. Almost switched to another optional paper but thought its best to keep trying whilst you still have the the stuff in your head. Dont give up..its hard I know but after a few days of swallowing it up and reflecting, dust yourself up and plan do rewrite in the next sitting….There is no victory without hiccups/obstacles…fight on and be positive that in His time, He makes all things possible..just know the reason why you started and look forward to the harvesting time when this exam journey is over.
Hi all, I am about to book my AAA, which version should I go for or what determines the version please…your help is greatly appreciated before I book the wrong one although I am inclined to book the International version.
Passed…moving onto AAA now…….Main study resource was Open tuition and then some few Utube videos
Booked the wrong version on my first attempt and failed due to time management…2nd attempt today and eish..praying for a miracle…I just want to move on to AAA.I took for granted Management commentary and skipped it this morning whilst revising and unfortunately it came with loads of marks
Anyone sat the exam remotely? Any tips or advice before I book a remote exam for June please?
I am not sure getting the academic review is worthwhile. I got 48 in SBL first attempt when I wrote it without serious study and paid for the review which was a waste of my money and time.
The advise is to do a lot of question practice….especially get acquainted with the exam questions/mock exams…..use the exhibits as much as possible in answering the questions and the topics you are familiar with in the exam..try to maximise on those. I hadnt studied a few topics and honestly just maximised on the few that I knew well as I was aiming for just a pass.

Hi everyone. I am left with 3 exams…just passed my SBL and am left with SBR and 2 Optional ones. I am looking for advise on whether to start with the optional ones or just finish the compulsory ones.
Im also sure I want to sit for AAA but confused on whether to sit for APM or AFM….I kind of dont like Tax for wont be taking ATX ..please advise.

Was thinking of taking AAA and Performance Management/Tax.
Passed with 59%..2nd attempt….To God be the glory…..as my hands are full ..and after the exam I had lost hope….
It will be interesting to hear what the feedback from markers is. Best way is for people to complete the after exam survey so they have a rough idea how we felt about it. Perhaps they will go soft on us lol.
We are all in the same boat, I hope they will review and lower the pass mark…2nd time sitting for this exam Lol…..I just want it out of the way so I can do the few left and finish this.

What did you guys put on Machine learning…sounds silly but this exam is driving me nuts..
I tried to squeeze in Mendelow and POPIT for the models..
For the risks question I thought it was okayish…
The KPI one I left it till the end and could not finish cz of time,
The offer from Delta ……for me that was questionable cz of the extensive bad media coverage…
For Q1 on governance and leadership.. i honestly messed up as i took such for granted thinking it would not come …concentrated more on difficult topics that did not come.
Hopefully ranting here has helped calm down a bit till the results are out…not sure when…
