April 22, 2020 at 11:52 am #568943Hello mr Kim, does one lose access to myacca once one becomes member. I received email confirming my acca membership and since then I can not access myacca.
April 15, 2020 at 8:02 am #568309hello, how do you track membership progress?
April 13, 2020 at 1:39 am #567636Passed first time with 56. Did study much and didn’t apply any models at all.
Completed my acca exams now
I self-studied my whole acca journey and passed every single exam on first attempt. For those who weren’t lucky, never give up. Acca exams tend to be scenario based ; apply all your knowledge
not only from that paper’s syllabus but across acca exams to the scenario. Work hardest on exam day and attempt every mark available. For the parts you struggle, read the question again and again . Almost always the wording of the question gives clue of the answer required. Give your reasoned opinion considering the scenario and mention any supporting facts you can from the scenario.April 13, 2020 at 12:03 am #567486April 13, 2020 at 12:01 am #567480Post whatever it is guys

I’m awaiting SBL results this is my final paper and hoping desperately for a pass. The exam was terrible I studied the syllabus well I thought but none of what I studied came up! It was all very general. I believe if you have good business and commercial acumen you could have passed the exam without studying the actual syllabus. I found the questions so weird!Today, it doesn’t matter how the exam went on March 3. Even if you were super confident after the exam , you are bound to feel these stomach jolts. Be absolutely thrilled that you have the chance to qualify in few hours , no matter how small that chance is. I am not allowing any thing to dampen my spirit until i see a fail.????

Can’t wait for the results if i’m honest. Unsure why future certified chartered accountants would come up with wild theories to try and cheat the system in order to find out their results early. What impression does that give? Good luck to everybody honourably waiting for their results. I sat SBL and despite finishing the paper in its full capacity still am nervous as to whether i have passed or not. I will be waiting up on Sunday with my Mrs with a nice cold beer for the result!Hhhhh. You got to be kidding .. cheating?
There is no way one can know results before they are actually released. Those who talk about links, do so to speculate about their chance of pass in order to pass time.April 10, 2020 at 12:01 pm #567118@arfan54 said:
How was your exam? Not great but fair under the circumstances. I attempted all requirements . The IT based scenario was nightmare and I really struggled like Cloud computing. Nevertheless, I am hopeful of a pass.
April 10, 2020 at 11:00 am #567106I also did SBL.

I feel this time the waiting time is even more difficult because of the self quarantine situation.. in the past we could go out and enjoy the days before the result to pass time.. now it’s like each minute ticks away so slow..
I keep visiting the forum and read through the. Result countdown section of previous sessions as well to sense a feeling of togetherness..it is very interesting to read..the feedback of people..
I was thinking all of us here in the forum can talk about which paper they wrote.. and what is their next plan.. and how are they spending the time..and which paper was the most challenging one for them so far.. for me I am waiting for AFM results.. I had previously written apm..twice and failed… Then I attempted AFM and failed then I took a year break.. and I wrote my exam on March.. I hope I pass it this time..We are almost there. In two days, some of us will be celebrating a milestone, some, a relief that it is finally over and others, disappointed with the grim prospect of repeating the same thing in 6 months.
I was luck with my ACCA journey so far. I start acca from F1 in 2017 and self-studied throughout my journey and after 3 years , I am here as a finalist. I always attempted one paper at a time ; from the first paper to the last. And I passed them first time in my 12 exams so far. It was far from a smooth ride, I was university student in the first two years and full time employee from 2019 hence I struggled with time but I managed to do some bits of ACCA everyday or so no matter what.
My hardest paper was SBR. The exam was nightmare, only 8 Mark’s allocated for calculations; and no consolidations or financial statements at all. I scrapped it with 50 against all odds.

I’m so nervous just want to pass so badly. i just have to finish my objectives and hopefully apply for membership this year. tired of studying. Sat an exam every sitting for two years straight whether pass or fail. what kept me going is a went on small vacations each time after an exam so as not to burnout. I do not also believe the exam should affect lifestyle of experiences. will let you know how i get on in APM results threadThanks. I wish you the best . I usually follow similar strategy of taking acca in small doses. From F5, i took one exam at a time , never missing a session. I passed every time on the first attempt. Hopefully SBL will follow same trajectory for me

Hi Kimthe fact that so many students will sit the exam in September would ACCA mark the exams harder to keep pass rates around the 30%-40% range. I would imagine most people to do better as they have more time to prepare?
Awogbod2, I remember you from the December 2019 thread. How are you faring this time? I hope you pass
April 9, 2020 at 8:15 am #566906Hello guys.
This page is too quite for a Thursday before results. The tension is getting the better of me now. So close yet so farApril 8, 2020 at 6:19 pm #566873@arfan54 said:
Are you not feeling lack of pre result joyness as nobody discussing how their exams were and what their expectations are?More of this has caused by the pandemic. Otherwise, it used be more entertaining to start discussions around results over a week earlier.
I think from tomorrow, this discussion will gain momentum

Did you complete the whole PER in one go?I guess you can apply for membership straightaway provided you have the 36 months experience, completed Ethics module and as you said completed your PER.
Good luck!
No, I did not complete the PER in one go. I did it over time. The last objective has been approved today.
And I completed all other areas.April 7, 2020 at 2:49 pm #566761@frag said:
Are you a finalist? What paper(s) did you write? How was the exam for you?
I dnt think it means anything. My friend who is not a finalist also has it.
April 7, 2020 at 11:13 am #5667285 days remaining guys. Tighten your belts; we are almost there.
I completed my PER today, if I pass ( let’s assume I do pass), can I apply membership immediately or there is waiting period in which ACCA validates the PER?April 1, 2020 at 2:49 pm #566316 - AuthorPosts
