Trephena according to my understanding I have to amend my presentation slides ( Communication inc presentation) and not the SLS 4 questions (self reflection)? If I am wrong please correct me. You have explained the business models employed in quite a brief fashion. You have dismissed the limitations of such models in rather a perfunctory way. Sometimes you have just used a one -liner to present these limitations. A fuller explanation is needed.
2. Application of accountancy/business models Fail

Your financial analysis is a little weak. Please see the comments below. You are meant to use your ratio calculations to explain the company’s performance and position. Often you are simply repeating information from the annual reports with insufficient explanation.
3. Evaluation of information, analysis and conclusions Fail

Whilst you have done some reasonable work and shown some understanding of GSK this is not of a pass standard. Your work would benefit from the greater use of independent sources especially in the financial section. This section is entirely referenced from the company’s own annual report. Whilst this is a good source of information it should not (for reasons of potential bias) be the only source. You are also prone to not giving sufficient explanatory detail. For example, you note that certain drugs have increased or decreased in sales but do not explain their relative importance to the company. You should also consider the key gross margin analysis.The non-financial section also needs some improvement in the quality and detail of analysis.

Please see the points above about the need for a wider range of sources in your financial analysis. Your referencing needs some attention. There are parts of your RAP that are not referenced at all. For example, the start of your SWOT. There are a couple of references in your RAP not in your list e.g. (www.kfknowledgebank.kaplan.co.uk, 2012); (Grundy, 2006). Also you are prone at the end of a long paragraphs to giving dual references e.g. “(www.biofarchemicals.com) “and “(www.causewaypk.com)”. Please update your re-submission using the latest accounts.

I have added 7 files in my Annexure which included 2 SOFP, 2 SOPL, ratios, sales analysis and graphs. I didn’t used the excel formula in preparing SOPL, SOFP for e.g I just copied the figures manually for the totalling of the figures and didn’t used (Sum: C5) and sales analysis where I just typed manually the % change in revenue without using excel tool for calculation whereas I did used excel formulas in calculating ratios and preparing graphs.

Sir can you confirm me which standard was to be used in Dec 16 exam related to the acquisition of aircraft by taking a loan, as I am confused was it ifrs9 or borrowing cost if any of the students has discussed with you the question.

Did everyone who downloaded their certificate saw third party consent notice?

I also received email from Acca about subscriptions though I couldn’t pay the fees now so was not able to see any certificate, it just asked for a third party consent. I can also view the status report.
