    Thank you very much! Now that I see how it can be computed, it seems rather simple, and also explains why there was no workings provided for this.

    I had the same thought during this exam session, and infact registered for both the exams in December 2013 sitting. The idea was, if I can learn P2 well enough, then F7 should not be a worry.

    The trouble I faced though is deciding which one to focus on first, F7 to get the basics right or P2 during the preparation stage. So I started off with P2, but soon realised, unless I know the F7 material well, P2 is not going to work. Group accounts for example is a case in point.. It is there in both the levels but in P2, it builds on your knowledge of F7.

    So my suggestion is, spend a month or so familiarizing youreself with F7 content. If you find it easy to digest, then may be you can plan for P2 also. Else don’t bother.
