I also received 300 cost gap per engine.
The paper was fair in comparison with the previous! Hope for a pass.
What about the quality costs. The casus stated that the CEO has calculated the prevention costs and is aware of them but wants information for the other three categories of quality costs. Then the Q requirement was calculate and determine by group the costs of quality. The Appendix contained data for training costs which are prevention costs. I was a little bit confused between the casus text and the Q requirment. However, decided to group the prevention and appraisal quality costs in one column with commented of my assumption.
    What about you guys?

Dear colleagues, let all of us give a feedback to ACCA for the P5 exam! The deadline is 14 June 2017. This exam is ridiculous and if we keep quiet and only write in this forum, we can’t expect changes! All of you should have received a survey email for the June 2017 session.

Yes, but you also have probability for each option and if you consider it then the results change.

Passed with 63%…This was the hardest exam from all F papers for me. It was my third attempt. I will begin with P papers in June. For all that did not manage to pass, my advice is not to give up. Practice all past papers, revision kit and write, not just read and say it is easy to understand. By reading you think that you got the idea but when you have to write it seems not so easy. The other thing that all say is to think for the financial statements risk and not for the business risk. Listen acca webinar before the exam, it is useful…Hope you succeed next time.

i failed f8 with 37%.i am very disappointed because i wrote on all questions and i expected that i would pass. it is very low result. i think that it would be better to ask for a copy of my exam. otherwise i would be inefficient in preparing for the second attempt. what do you think?

To all that worry about not marking on the first page which questions were answered.
I have also forgotten to mark the boxes and further contacted ACCA. I received a reply from them that it is not a reason the exam not to be marked. So do not worry about that. As far as you indicated on the answer pages which question you work on it would be enough. However, if smn forgot to check also the answer pages, the examiners are familiar enough with the answers and questions and they would recognize which question was answered.

What recommendation did you gave to the gym on the decision tree? My result showed that it is better to do the expansion and the best outcome was on the branch of increasing the memberships to 6500. I roughly remember that the benefit was at about 480 000. What did you receive on this Q?

    The Q5 says that
$30,000 of the costs for the year ended 31 May 2013 related to standard maintenance checks and repairs that
have to be carried out by the school every year in order to comply with government health and safety standards.
These are expected to increase by 3% in the coming year. Also it is given that the inflationary adjustment is 3%.
My understanding is that the maintenance checks and repairs would increase for the year of 3% *more maintenance will be performed) and also there is inflation of 3%. So I have adjusted the amount with totally 6%. The same with the other 2 point in that question.
    Is it correct?
