    thanks sisnem 🙂

this poll is to help students (those who are thinking of buying) to get study text, to decide which one to get for specific exam..

wondering if there is any difference depending on which exam..

I would recommend going through OT lectures – they are the best and use BPP textbook as a complement if you need to know more about specific subject. Then its all about revision KIT (BPP)

Absolutely agree with seagoat – the best is combining BPP and OT, for all exams.

OT lectures & Kaplan for study and revision + Emile Wolf (I have an old version). I found BPP difficult to understand sometimes (English is not my first language). I used it for F6, F7 and F4 and didn’t find all the information required by the syllabus so won’t buy again in the future.

Kaplan book for F5 is f**cking terrible.

Omission of time series even though it is the syllabus

Advanced variances chapter, for material planning and operational variances it simply tells you to read the examiners article. The same instruction is given on the labour mix and yield variance.

Then to mess with your head even more, the answer to the 1 question on materials operational and planning os calculated using the alternative method, that they haven,t outlined clearly, which also gives you a different answer if using the examiners method. Idiots

Never buying anther book from them again, which is a real shame because I recently discovered an exploit that gives me free access to textbooks and exam kits through their website
