    Can someone please tell me what does ACCA membership acceptance email mean ? They approved my application and even congratulated me for becoming acca member but my Myacca account still shows me as an affiliate . I got the email on 16 April and nothing after that. Is it same with you too ? This is making me a little impatient now..

    @frag
    Congrats!
    I applied on the same date and received the ACCA membership acceptance email as well. They even congratulate me for becoming acca member. I am confused because that was too quick. Does the approval of our application mean we’re members or do they still look into our PERs and stuff before finally entering our names into register.

    3 a. Responsibilities and activities to be carried out by CEO in order to operate Mieobed approach effectively. Something like that

    b. – Benefits of mieobed to TT4U co. and employees
    _ changes to teams structure below board level necessary for the mieobed approach

    What did you write in these questions. My answers were too common. I repeated my answers not knowing what else to write among these requirements.

    Thank you for the response.

    I still have a query regarding my supervisor. Can you please tell me that do my father’s cousin qualify as “family” ? I saw somewhere that if we have worked for a family member we need to disclose this to ACCA. I worked for him some years ago in a firm, i think it will meet some performance objectives but i am so confused if i need to say he’s my father’s cousin. we dont live together. It was more of a professional relation with him.

    If i have to disclose, where do i disclose it. Is there a section in per or do i have to email acca? please help me out with this issue.

    Sir,

    I am a little confused about the futures price predicted in the suggested answer in acca site.

    I calculated the closing futures price using the technique explained by you in the lectures. In the question there is no closing spot rate provided and hence I used the six month forward rate to calulate the Closing Futures price as on 31 may 20×9.

    As on 30Nov. Spot rate is 1.0292 and futures price is 1.0369 Hence, Basis = -0.0077

    Similarly as on transaction date 31May 2009 I assumed the spot rate to be the six months forward rate 1.0358. Now the Unexpired basis For remaining one month = 1/7 * .0077 = -.0011.
    Therefore predicted futures price = 1.0358 + .0011 = 1.0369.

    Hence I predicted futures price as 1.0369. Is it correct ? Can we use forward rate as above to calulate futures price if the spot rate on transaction date is not given in question ?
