The $78 is the total cost of the contract.

Then how can we differentiate between the total spending of $14,430,000 and Funding amount of $185 million?

    Dear Ken,

I have understood the calculation but unable to understand the results.

The value of $78 is derived by $14,430/$185m. What is the interpretation of $78 in the analysis of Benchmarking?

    Dear Trephana,

Thank you for your response. However, Financing is not the issue.

I would like to know when we can start RAP, if we want to complete it in year 2020 (Period 40)?

I had Final Accounts in Section-C and other was Ratio Analysis and Interpretation of Plannit Group. In Section-A and B, I was tested more on theoretical questions. Further, seeded part was in B.

Section-C was awful. Wanted to have consolidation. This seems a drawback of CBE.

Anyone had the Section-C as mentioned above?

    Mr. Moffat,

I understood the entire calculation of the given problem. We have to increase the Sales and Variable cost by 40%. I am facing trouble with Other Costs. In the question they have said, ” The Other Costs are 40% fixed”. In the Exam Kit they have calculated it as follow:

    $20 x 60% x 40% = $5

I want to know that if we have just increased sales and Variable by just adding 40%. Why with the other cost we have multiplied $20 first with 60% and then by 40% to get our answer $5.

Hope you may solve my problem now. I have written entire question for your ease not for the detailed solution. However, next time I will be careful in defining the problem.

    Thank you

Sand wish Queen is looking to expand its restaurant facilities to increase its seating capacity a further 40%. Results for the current year are:

    Food Sales $ 200
    Drink Sales $ 170
    $370

    Food Costs $145
    Drink Costs $77
    Staff Costs $40
    Other Costs $20
    $282

    Net Flow $88

Sales & Variable Costs will increase in line with seating capacity increase. The Other Costs are 40% fixed. An Extra employee is required to serve the extra seating capacity. There are currently 4 employees on an equal wage.

What is the relevant annual net cash flow to the nearest $000 of the proposed expansion.

Through google I have came to know few years ago Open Tuition set a poll and asked the suggestion of students on Paper F4 text and majority had favored BPP.

Okay! that was the poll based on personal opinion.

I am bit interested in Beckers because it is offering good discount.

Mr. Mike, as you are tutor and you have thorough knowledge of all study text. As F4 is theory-based exam. I want to know which study text is better, in explaining the concepts of F4, I mean the language and vocabulary employed and example given for understanding.

Based on my above query which one you would suggest me Kaplan, BPP or Becker?

I am going with English variant, and I shall use the Study text of BPP and their revision kit. Further, I shall use open tuition lectures and notes for my support.
