May 27, 2023 at 8:28 pm #685201why are we not making adjustments to reach chargeable death state like subtracting mortage of 160000 by 374000 and funeral expenses and promise to repay son legal fees and all that why are you just putting in the death state value in the question of 950000 ? also for RNRB in question its never mentioned the property as main residence you are assuming that dont assume unless question specifically uses words MAIN residence or only residence . can you clear why other adjustments are discarded mentioned above in death state value ?

November 9, 2022 at 5:53 pm #671146if fixed costs are not sunk cost then whats the answer to the question ? there were no other options i remember in the paper ,there were only committed costs sunk costs and incremental. Sunk costs is the right answer ? because general fixed overhead is not incremental cause of the word general. there were no changes mentioned in Question just general fixed overhead and then three options beside it and it asked whats the correct matching.
November 9, 2022 at 1:26 pm #671131sorry the question was
are general fixed overheads sunk cost , incremental costs or opportunity cost ?it can only be incremental when it is specific fixed overheads which in question i remember didn’t mention anywhere about specific . if its sunk cost then why so ?

August 30, 2022 at 8:50 pm #664708thankyou soo much sir .
August 30, 2022 at 12:59 pm #664680sorry one more thing . in part a it asks for incremetal profit or loss upon accepting . this is what i did
we make profit before accepting 96-(70) variable plus T.P= 26 per component L
profit after accepting 96 – (67) variable costs of making M and the 37 from external buyer = 29
therefore division M make an incremental loss of 29-26 = 3 per component L upon buying internally
but in marking scheme its something to do with costs only n the answer is different
August 30, 2022 at 12:54 pm #664679thankyou sir
