Why are you still here? 🙂Haha – I see your point, but I thought I might be able help by letting you know about my experiences from last time, as I know how easy it is to start thinking every e-mail means something.

i received that too @sacca1 – hopefully it doesnt mean anything! It doesn’t – I received similar e-mails before the September results were released and I passed my final exam in that session, so whatever e-mails you’re receiving a the moment are no indication of a pass or fail.

Did Ebusiness work for you?I never tried it. I understand from the past that it seems fairly consisitent but I wouldn’t like to take it as a cast iron guarantee of a pass or fail.
I sympathise with those waiting for their result – these days are the hardest, especially when waiting for your final result.
January 7, 2019 at 6:07 pm #500298Hi everybody,
I just thought I’d pop in here and offer a bit of advice. I was a finalist last time and passed my exam – I know that the next few days will feel like a lifetime, but please don’t stress about what e-mails you are or are not receiving.
In the week before my final result I was still getting e-mails about preparing for December. I also didn’t get an e-mail about the World Congress of Accountants which others did receive. In short, if I’d tried to predict my result by the e-mails I received I would have thought that I’d failed, whereas in fact I passed.
So my advice would be that the e-mails you are receiving at the moment don’t mean anything with regard to your result.
I hope you all get a positive result this time – good luck for Sunday night/Monday morning.

When can we expect to get our ACCA certificates????I have waited too long for this certificate.
I sat P5 13 times and was made to write SBL and it is not fair that they delay my professional certificate.
Have you applied for membership? I applied Monday morning and got an e-mail saying my status should be changed to ‘member’ in the next 10 working days, the certificate will be sealed on 31st October and to expect to receive it within 12 weeks.
But with all due respect, it is not ACCA’s fault it took 13 attempts to pass an exam – they cannot issue certificates any faster for one person than another.

What advice can you give and can you share your documents?I used BPP study text and revision kit, as well as Open Tuition lectures.
My advice would be practice as many questions as you can. Practice exams under exam conditions – 4 hours is a long time to concentrate, and you need to get used to it before the actual exam day.
Don’t learn the syllabus by rote – learn to apply the knowledge. Use technical articles on ACCA website, examiner’s guidance etc. All of this should help you pass.
Good luck!

Passed with 53% (always keep writing right to the end (and I still don’t really know what a Project Initiation Document should look like)).Studied with a Kaplan text book and all the OpenTuition lectures.
Thank you very much everyone – unquestionably it was OpenTuition that got me over the line.
I have to say, even having read the examiner’s report the project initiation document question is still a bit of a mystery. I did do the specimen exams and read the guidance on the website about PIDs, but there still didn’t seem to be enough in depth information to help with answering that question in the exam.
I am very pleased I don’t have to sit this one again – the exam, in a way. felt quite disconnected from the syllabus. There didn’t seem to be much chance to use models or syllabus knowledge. It will be interesting to see the pass rate when it is published.

October 15, 2018 at 12:08 am #478089Passed! 67% – by far my lowest mark, but so happy to get through my last exam. Well done to all those who have passed – those who haven’t, don’t give up – you can do it.
