Hi all,
Bit of a random question, but I’m curious how others here pick their education CPD provider. I’ve been looking into different options for a while now and honestly, it can get confusing. Some places advertise CPD but don’t really explain who accredits them, while others are more transparent.
From my side, I once joined a short course thinking it was CPD accredited, only to find out later it wasn’t recognised anywhere. Lesson learned the hard way. Since then, I try to stick to providers that clearly show their accreditation details.
Do you guys usually go for big-name providers only, or do you also try smaller ones if they’re accredited? And is there any quick way you double-check if a course is truly recognised before signing up?
Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

with lots of posts about CPD e.g. this one https://opentuition.com/topic/regarding-cpd
Unless specifically looking to have to pay for CPD, members need look no futher than the ACCA’s website to meet CPD requirements.
