    Hi, my question is when the exam said enter your answer to the nearest whole $, what does it actually mean?

    I did an exercise in BPP Kit yesterday, but got the answer wrong because the key of this exercise rounded the answer to the whole thousand $.
    The key was: Finance cost for the year = 9,190 x 8% = 735 $’000
    => answer: 735,000$
    But 9190 x 8% = 735,2 $’000, so that mean the answer should be 735,200$

    Please help me with this confusion so I can avoid the mistake in my actual exam.
    Thanks.

    You would need to put 735,000 when rounding to the nearest thousand.

    But the exam said enter your answer to the nearest WHOLE $, doesn’t it mean that the answer should be 735,200$?

    If it is the nearest $ then you would round to the nearest $.
