Respected sir,
I am a full time student studying ACCA. Started ACCA right after my school with no prior accounting studies or accounting work experience.
How many hours in total should I dedicate to study the FR exam(everything including lectures, reading and practice). Also, I need to score atleast 70-75 so that I may get First Class Div in OBU Degree.
I am aware with the fact that it varies from person to person but I wanted an estimate ballpark figure of how much hours will I have to devote to this exam to score atleast 70-75. Personally, I am making a stab to devote around 300 hours to this exam.
I am in need of you advice and recomendation on the total study hours actually needed to score above 70.
September 29, 2023 at 9:57 pm #692643Hi,
There is no answer to this question and it all depends on your basic knowledge from the FA exam and how much time you have available to study the syllabus and undertake plenty of revision. Are you studying full time? Or, are you studying part time whilst holding down a job? This is another factor to consider.
Personally I think that you are best posting this question on the other forum where students can reply to give you an idea of how long they are spending or have spent on studying FR to get the marks that you are aiming for.
Thanks
